Chapter 9

Niall's P.O.V.

We sat in silence for most of the ride. When I turned the corner her eyes lit up big. She turned her face quickly and smiled at me.

"I can't believe you pick this place. An ice rink! This is going to be so much fun." She said smiling even bigger. I could tell she was trying to hold in all of her excitement. We hopped out of the car and walked to the ice rink.

"Have you ever skated before?"

"Only once but when I was really little. Have you?"

"No never but it looks like a lot of fun."

I said as we walked to where we can get our ice skates.I helped her put hers on and slipped mine on after. I stood up and felt like I was going to fall over. Luckily there were only a few people there. We practically waddled over to the door and went on the ice. We stayed close to the wall like every one else. Once we both got the hang of it we slowly moved towards the center of the rink. She stumbled a few times and so did I but we kept our balance. After a little they started playing music and we dance as much as we could. When they switched to slow music she got closer and leaned her head against my chest. She then wrapped her arms around me and I did the same. We did the little dance that everyone does when there on a date. The hold hands sway dance. After a couple of songs they played up beat ones again. I look at her and her cheeks were bright red.

"Are you cold? Do you want to leave?" I asked looking into her eyes with concern.

"No I'm fine. I wanna stay for a few more songs." She said flashing that adorable smile of hers.

She's so cute this way.

When she's close to me I mean. I nodded to her and we continued skating. On the last song we agreed to stay for we went back into the middle. She tried going faster than me but I went faster. She'd playfully smile every time I got in front of here. She tried again and lost balance. She grabbed my hand to try to keep balance put accidentally pulled me down with her.

" oh my gosh I'm so sorry." She said looking down.

"It's ok. I'm fine. The most important thing is that your ok." I said getting up. I held out my hand to her and she blushed. She grabbed and I carefully pulled back onto her feet.

"Let's go. We can get some hot cocoa and some lunch."

"Ok. Sounds better than staying in the cold." She said slightly laughing. I joined her and headed out the entrance. We quickly changed our shoes and went to the car. I turned on the heat and started the car.

"Anywhere you want to go?"

"No anywhere is fine." She said quietly,staring out the window. I backed out and headed to my favorite coffee shoppe. It's small but I only go there for their hot cocoa.

Alyssa's P.O.V.

We pulled up to this adorable little corner coffee shoppe. I never noticed before but it was pretty close to my house. We walked in I immediately noticed the cute little tables and chairs. The backing a to the chairs were heart shape and the chairs were black as well as the tables. On each table were really pretty navy blue table cloths. I followed Niall to the front counter and he ordered two hot chocolates with extra whip cream and a candy cane came with it. After we ordered we sat at one of the window tables. We talked for a little and it started to lightly snow. It was so pretty. I took sips of my hot cocoa as I watched the snow fall.

"It's really pretty,isn't a it?"

Niall asked quietly.

"Yea it is." I answered smiling out the window.

"It reminds me of someone." His words grabbed my attention away from the window and to him. I blushed brightly.

"Do you know who it reminds me of?" I nodded side to side answering him.

"You." He said smiling the biggest smile I've ever seen and blushing bright red. He leaned over the table and kissed me on the lips. I kissed him backed, overjoyed by what he just said. I know it's little but I think the little thing matter the most.
