Okayy, so so so sorryyy the chapters aren't very long but like i said they look long when your'e writing them but then when you upload them they're reallyyy short!! Looveeee u guys for reading my fan ficc and pleaseee pleaaasssssseeeeee vote and comment!! Oh yeah and btw it is just Jess' mum on holiday, not her dad as well. Sorryyy!

I woke up and tried to recall the previous evening, but it was all a blur. I had a terrible headache and rubbed my head as I staggered downstairs. Em was sitting at the table on one of those reall cool high turny chairs, munching some Special K. She looked a little suspicious but was obviously trying to hide it. I grabbed a bowl and joined her, trying to ignore the mysterious look on her face. 

"Hey Emm how long have you been upp for?!"

"an hour and a half"

"wow early!!"

"Yeah couldn't sleep."

I checked the time on my phone. 11:30 am. Roughly my usual holiday waking up time. I know! But I'm REALLY bad at getting up and I'm a really heavy sleeper, like most people would get woken up by clumsy Em falling out of bed in the room next door. But not me.

"Soo... what should we do today?" I wondered.

"Louis called and asked if we wanted to meet them todayy"

O.M.G. Sorry, fan girl moment. One Direction actually want to spend time with me and Em!!!! :O Anyway.

"Whaaa?" I asked. Emily knows what I mean.

"Lunchtime in Waterlow Park. y'know, that really nice one like a 20 minute drive away. In an hour"

"ONE HOUR???!!!" I practically shrieked at her. A bit of maths in my head and I realised that if it takes 20 minutes to drive there, then I only have 40 minutes to get ready. For God's sake I'm still in my pyjamas!! "SEE YOUU IN 40 MINUTES!!" i yelled to Em as I sprinted up the stairs.

"See why I got ready early now?" She shouted after me, laughing to herself.

I pulled off my pjs and jumped into the shower, letting the hot water run over me. That woke me up and felt good. I quickly washed my hair and was out in ten minutes. Then I pulled on some skinny jeans and a skinny tshirt, before grabbing my hairdryer and almost burning my head trying to dry my hair so quick! Once it was dry I scraped it back into a tight ponytail and checked the time. 20 minutes to go. I ran into the bathroom, brushing my teeth and splashing cold water over my face. Then I quickly grabbed a bag and put into it my phone, keys to Em's house in case we split up and various other things. Em had already opened the front door and was waiting outside. 

"Commooonnnnn!!!!" She urged me. 

I grabbed an oversized hoodie - one of Em's I think - and sprinted down the steps after her, before jumping into the passenger seat of her Fiat. When we started driving I let out a long sigh.

"God!" 

"I know!!" Em laughed back at me.

20 minutes later we arrived. It is quite a nice little park and I used to go there a lot with my dad - but not anymore. I pushed those thoughts out of my mind and convinced myself that today was gonna be fun and I wouldn't be reminded of anything I didn't want to think about. I checked my phone. 12:07. We were 7 minutes late. We walked in and I wondered how the hell we were gonna find them in this maze of a park.

"They said to meet them at the cafe" emily said, as if she could read my thoughts. So we headed over, and sure enough there they were, sitting at a bench. I squinted in the sunshine as we approached them.
