Chapter Fourteen

Previously.....

(Y/N) woke up from a seemingly comfortable position while sleeping on a chair in Hiro's hospital room. 'Another day,' she thought. Well, she was wrong. Suddenly, his heart rate steadies and Hiro wakes up. What felt like one day of sleep to him was changed when (Y/N) explained that he was unconscious for five days. As she comforted him and he comforted her, what were the odds that he had just kissed her on the forehead?

Hiro pulled your face away from his chest and locked a warm, deep brown gaze on you. He had a soft smile carved onto his face, and his eyes shimmered with hope. Realizing how perfect the moment was, he sighed heavily and continued his gaze.

"Hiro..." You started, your tears drying. "I... I..."

He patted your back and pulled you in for another embracing hug. This one lasted for about twice as long, but who cares? Another hug wasn't going to hurt anything.

I wish this moment'can last forever... You thought.

"Who says it can't?" Hiro's voice interrupted your thoughts.

"Did I say that out loud!?" You shrieked, a blush overcoming your face as you continued the hug. You felt Hiro simply nod.

"Mmmhmm," He hummed in response. After two minutes, he pulled away, the same gaze continuing. He placed his hand on your cheek, wiping away your leftover tears with his thumb. He pulled you closer and touched his forehead with yours, his messy, raven hair falling into your face. Just because he came into contact didn't mean he quit leaning in.

He just kept going... and he didn't stop until your lips met, the gap completely closed.

After about (however many minutes you wanted it to be, or even seconds), you pulled away, your foreheads still touching. He opened his eyes, a brown beacon shining into your soul. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that," Hiro muttered, sincerity in his voice. His sweet, soothing voice.

After a few moments, the nurse came back in with a different clipboard.

"Diagnosis: Lovestruck."

Hiro looked at you and smiled. You returned the smirk and couldn't help but manage a small chuckle.

(A/N) Okay, so basically this book is done, but don't worry! There will be an epilouge. It's called 'Soaring' for a reason, y'know XD

This chapter was a filler, but it was short n' sweet. Basically, I somehow managed to make a concluding filler. How cool is that? I'm sorry this chapter is short. I've gotten so many book ideas, so I'm more excited for those. I've been thinking about them more, not really much this book. OH WELL. I finished it anyway XD
