1. Updating
Ok I understand when you get hooked on a totally amazing one of a kind book, I get you, you want it updated constantly However when the author just literally updated a hour ago cut
them a break. For a couple reasons:
• writers block
• they have a life
•have important things to do
•they literally just updated I shouldn't have to explain
2. "Copying work"
Alright at some point in this world something's gonna repeat its self, and if your gonna write about something or someone famous obviously you won't be the only one. After so long ideas will repeat like:
•abused
•adoption
•contest
•vampires
•werewolfs
Bla bla bla just face facts there gonna repeat same thing goes for plots it's a lot less common but it still can happen, it could be loosely based on your book, or slightly the same but there are changes just don't point fingers making accusations when all you have to do is ask politely or read the book itself.
As for names come on people I've gone to school and "ran into" not literally but you should know what I mean jakes or Cassies I mean there are several common names On the other hand there are uncommon names like Ronan, Wylie, Zander well at least where I live but it's rare. Then if course you have famous people right, but you wouldn't wanna change their names, at least I hope you wouldn't.
3.spelling & grammar
Oh well, get over yourself everyone makes mistakes if you wanna be rude go right ahead and point it out, most if the time you can figure it out, and if English isn't the authors 1st language just be glad they tried to change it for more people to read and one of those people are Y-O-U so thank them once in a while instead of always said UPDATE!!!!!!
4. Authors notes
Yeah sure, you may not like them but they're there for a reason, it maybe important. how? Well:
•explains why updates haven't happened
•get to know each other better
•writer needs to vent
•contests
•many more reasons.....
If you don't like them not a problem just skip them don't be mean about it saying how you don't care, remember you are talking to a human being they have feelings just like you, put yourself in their shoes before saying something.
