Angie's Death

In the month of July in the village of Sotoba, Angie usually helped her parents in the rice fields, but today was different. Ever since the Shikis came into the scene, the local villagers were suspicious of Angie's family was hiding some of them. Angie and her family were forced into hiding from the villagers that we're hunting the Shikis. All though the family was under suspicion, the villagers were wrongly accusing them. One day in late July, Koouji Kibiki heard a pounding at the door. He slowly walked towards the door and slowly opened it. A man stood outside with a huge group of villagers. "Tell us where you're hiding them, now!" The man yelled. The rest of the villagers yelled afterwards. The first man held Koouji by the collar of his shirt as his wife, Sayaka and his daughter, Anjii (or known as Angie) stood behind him. "Let's get'm!" Another man yelled. "Yeah!" the rest of the villagers cheered. The first man who had yelled took a wooden stake in one hand and a mallet in the other and held Koouji down. Two other villager men held down Koouji's legs. Koouji pleaded for them to end this madness, but they didn't listen. The first villager struck the mallet down onto the wooden steak, piercing Koouji's heart. Sayaka and Anjii watched in horror as Koouji was being killed. Anjii's mother quickly grabbed her hand and ran to her room. Anjii followed her mother, fearing for her and her mother.  The village men at the house quickly followed in pursuit of the mother and daughter.  "Hide in the closet" Sayaka said.  Anjii's eyes filled with tears.  Not wanting to disobey her mother, Anjii did what she was told.  She sat their quietly and silently started to cry as she heard her mother be killed.  One man opened the door to the closet.  Anjii screamed as a man dragged her out by her ankle.  He dragged her through her mother's fresh blood, staining her clothes.  "Hold her down" said one man.  He had a cigarette in his mouth and was staring intently down at Anjii.  "No!  No please don't do it!" she pleaded.  Two men held her down by her arms.  Another man struck down a mallet onto the stake that was placed over her heart.  She screamed the whole time.  Doctor Toshio Ozaki stared down at her, his face was blank and cold.  Anjii soon died after five minutes and the village men dragged her into her closet.  That was the end of Anjii's life.  Or so she thought.
