I pretend to be happy. No one sees it. Only of you look close will you see I'm unhappy. There's just fake smiles. All my smiles are dull and lifeless. My eyes no longer shine with color. I'm lifeless and gray. Laughs are no longer joyful; they are to cover the depression inside. "Oh what happened to you, you were so happy?" That's what they say. The answer is never simple, the only thing simple is the lies I tell. The things I tell are all lies to keep you from the inside. Always lies to to hide the truth. Always laughs to hide the hurt. Always smiles to stop the tears.
