#40: Home

Lily was texting her friend, Alisha, because she was coming home. Lily was so excited. After everything that has happened, she couldn't wait to tell her. They had been texting all day.

Lily spent the four and a half hours with the twins. She was constantly talking about Alisha to Ethan. She could see that he was developing a crush for Alisha. They were stopped when Lily got a text.

Lily smiled as she faced the twins. "Alisha's coming here! She said she's on her way!" She exclaimed. Both, Lily and Ethan, got excited. Grayson was laughing at their reactions. Ten minutes later, there was a knock on the door. Ethan and Lily jumped up off the couch. Lily ran to the door while Ethan ran to his room.

Lily opened the door. "ALISHA!!!" She yelled in excitement. Alisha tackled Lily into a hug. They hugged for a while. They broke apart and smiled at each other. "Alisha, this is Grayson. Grayson, this is Alisha" Lily introduced them. Alisha smiled and waved at Grayson.

Ethan then walked out of his room. He was wearing a grey shirt with black sleeves and black jeans. He smiled as he walked into the living room. "Alisha, this is Ethan - Grayson's twin brother. Ethan, this is Alisha" Lily introduced them.

The four of them spent the rest of the day together. They decided to go for a hike up to the Hollywood sign. Alisha and Ethan walked ahead while Grayson stayed with Lily. Grayson and Lily walked hand in hand as they watched Alisha and Ethan flirting.

After a 30 minute hike, they finally reached the top. They all stood and watched the sun set. The red and orange flames in the sky was mesmerising. The view of LA was beautiful. The lights beginning to turn on and the sun setting in the distance. It was dark when they began to walk home. Lily and Alisha parted as they reached the apartment building.

14th February

Lily woke up to a text from Grayson. It was 9am when her phone pinged. She checked the message she had received.

Lily got ready as fast as she could. She asked her dad to take her because she had 15 minutes to get there; she didn't want to be late. She was staring out the window as they drove to the location. Lily thanked her dad and waited at the bottom of the Hollywood sign. She waited for two minutes when Grayson arrived. He was holding a red rose. He smiled as he walked towards her.

"Here is a red rose for the love of my life" he said as he gave her the rose. "Roses have different meanings depending on their colour. The red rose represents love and passion. I would have gotten you lilies, but I've already given you some. Twice. I thought it would be nice for a change. Are you ready for our date?"

Lily kissed his cheek as she linked arms with him. "Where are we going?" She asked as she walked with Grayson. He smiled down at her. She looked into his gorgeous hazel eyes. They sparkled in the sunlight.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out" he replied. They got into the uber Grayson had called. They sat in the back as they were driven to their date. After 10 minutes in the car, they arrived somewhere. It was unfamiliar to Lily.

Grayson held her hand as he walked along a footpath. He walked through woods that seemed to go on forever. Eventually, they came to an open area. There was a waterfall and a lake. There was a little picnic arranged near the lake. Grayson led Lily to the picnic and sat down.

"I tried to get it perfect, but I guess this will do" he said. Lily laughed as she began to eat the food he had prepared. They ate and talked for about 10 minutes until Grayson had an idea.

"Shall we go swimming?" He asked. Lily wasn't sure whether she should agree or decline. Eventually, she accepted. Grayson took off his shirt, jeans, shoes and socks before getting in the water. Lily placed her shoes next to Grayson's. She pulled her flower dress off and slowly made her way into the water.

She swam towards Grayson. She smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He had his hands on her waist as he gazed into her eyes. Slowly, he began to lean in. Lily closed the gap between them. Their lips moved in sync. Grayson pulled her closer towards him and Lily had her arms around his neck.

After their heated make out session, they climbed out the lake and dried off. Grayson had brought a towel with him, so they used the towel to dry themselves before getting dressed. They sat down and ate more of the food at the picnic. The sun was starting to set when they began to make their way home.

They decided to walk home instead of calling an uber. They arrived at Lily's house 20 minutes later. Grayson walked her to her front door. She stopped and faced him before walking inside. "Thank you for today. I had so much fun. I'll see you tomorrow" she said as she kissed him passionately.

They broke the kiss and gazed into each others eyes. "I am madly in love with you" Grayson whispered. "I love everything about you: your laugh, your voice, your eyes, your soft lips, your cute nose. I don't think there is anything I don't love about you".

Lily blushed. "I'm full of imperfections".

"Your imperfections are perfect" he replied as he kissed her again. He broke the kiss a few seconds later. "Good night beautiful. Dream about me" he said as he began to walk away.

"I always do" she said before he was out of earshot. He turned around and smiled at her. She smiled back and waved as he walked down the street. She went inside once he disappeared.
