Mission Part Two

It feels like someone is touching my head with very soft fingers, but yet I can't force myself to open my eyes. I feel someone kiss my head over and over again, while still moving my hair.

"Kai, she's gotta wake up"

"I know, I'll wake her up, don't worry"

It sounds like whoever was talking walked away. I feel, who must be Kai, move around, and I suddenly feel his breath on my face.

"Zoey, you gotta wake up."

"I don't want to"

"Jagiya, you have to. Kris and your friends are going to be here."

At the reminder of Kris, Tao, and Luhan coming, my eyes fly open and I sit up, before jumping out of the bed. I run out of Jongin's room and down the hall into mine. I flash the lights on and ignore the groans coming from the two people sleeping in Kyungsoo's bed.

"And I thought I was moving fast with Kai"

"Hey! I told you to call me Jongin" I look over to see him pouting in the doorway.

"I would, but you're just so cute when you pout"

I feel his hands on my waist squeezing them.

"Jongin stop! I have to take a shower before they get here" I squeal as I feel him squeeze my waist again.

"Fine! But hurry" I walk across the hall and into the bathroom.

I don't waste any time in getting the water started, stripping down, and jumping into the shower. I'm almost done with my shower when I hear the door open.

"Whoever just came in here better have an amazing reason for being in here."

"I just wanted to actually spend some time with my best friend"

"Fine, you're safe" I stop the water, dry off, and get out of the shower.

All of you can stop judging, it's not weird, we're really close friends.

"I better be safe. I'm not losing you to Kai"

"You're not going to lose me to Jongin. I'm pretty sure he's not even going to talk to me after they get here."

"Why?"

"Well, they are the old members, and Jongin said that it would be incredibly painful to see them again, and I haven't told him that Kris, Tao, and Luhan are the ones that are coming"

"You're screwed"

"I'm sure I can get him to forgive me, at least I hope so"

"No, Zoey, Kai is planning to ask you out today"

I get so happy at the thought of Jongin and I dating, but realize what this whole situation means.

"Frick, I am screwed"

I finish getting dressed and just let my hair dry naturally, before we both head downstairs. I walk right over to Jongin and wrap my arms around him, even though his back was facing me. He jumps in response, but turns around to face me. I look up at him with pleading eyes, and just look at him and think about what is about to happen.

"Are you okay?"

"You remember how you promised me that you could never be mad at me last night?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, I'm sorry Jongin."

"Zoe, I'm confu-" the doorbell rings and Dae opens it up revealing Kris.
