THE P.O.W

through the barbed wire fence i stare,

with vacant eyes that do not see

a body no longer mine

clad only in rags

agaist the bitter cold

ishiver, no i shake

the coldness seeping

through my bones

yet once where locks of hair flowed

now bold, barren andweather beaten

i'm fallen from grace

forgotten in the gloom of war

my mind longs for home

a tear rolls down a grubby cheek

i think to myself

am i to die here

all alone

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the vampires call

hear your name

as its whispered upon the breeze

feel it pull upon your soul

like a spider spins its web

enticing you with passion and desire

as it seeps through the darkness

calling you

will you reply to the sweet sound

in the night

as it crawls around you

like mist roaming over the land

swirling in its enticing patterns

would you give in

to its luring call

gentlewhispers tempting you

to leave your bed

will you yield to its call

will you embrace the night

will you take fright

when i bite

will you heed the vampires call

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

you

you give me the sun

you offer me the moon

your my world

your love takes me higher than the stars

you touch my heart

with your tender smile

brightening my days

that sparkle in your eyes

the way you play with your hair

makes me smile

for your wonderful

because you are you

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

just one kiss
