Drag my hand behind you...
+Vic's POV+
"Where could they be?" I said, pacing the bus.
"They're probably just taking a break, man. We've all been on edge recently." Tony suggested.
"Tone's right. Lily's been through a lot, and Jaime probably wanted to take her mind off of things." Mike agreed.
"Are you sure? They would have answered Jaime's phone. Tony, why didn't you buy her a phone?" I shouted.
"Woah man, we didn't even think of it." Tony defended, fixing his snapback. I sat on the couch as I felt tears well up in my eyes. Jaime came storming in the door. He was a mess, he had dirt on the bottom of his jeans and his hair was flat.
"Where the hell is Lily?" I asked, standing up.
"He found us. He took her. She's gone." Jaime proclaimed. I gulped down dry air.
"She-she's gone? Lily's gone again?" My voice cracked as I fell against the couch.
"I'm so sorry, Vic. I chased after them, but I lost them." A dead silence fell over the four of us. What was I suppose to do? The love of my life is gone, again. I can't do this over.
"I'm not letting her go, not again. I promised her I'd keep her safe. Mike, let's go."
"Where are we going?" He asked.
"To report a missing person." Mike stood up and we left.

+Lily's POV+
The room was dark and musty. with only a few pieces of furniture. There was only one lamp, which wasn't much help for it was going out. The windows in the room were painted black, so no one could see out or in. I was tied to a wooden chair at my wrists and ankles. He didn't actually tape my mouth closed, so I could cry for help. It would be pointless, no one would be able to hear me and he'd hurt me if I tried. I heard a rattling and hissing. What could that be? I thought. I also heard someone humming a song. It sounded familiar.
"Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high. There's a land that I've heard of, once in a lullaby. Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue. And the dreams that you dare to dream, come true." My mother sang to me. It was calm and quite, my mother holding me softly in her arms. She sang such a sweet melody that I started crying.
"Shh, it's okay, little bird. Mother's here, mother will protect you." She rocked me back and forth slowly as my tears dried. "There you go, see? No tears. Just smiles and giggles." She started tickling my neck; I laughed loudly. Her eyes widened a bit, but went back to normal as she chuckled. "Sweet bird, how I love thee." She cooed, caressing my cheek. The door opened with a bang, and in stormed my father. My mom set me in my crib gently and whispered, "Be quiet, little bird." She turned around to face my father, her back to me. Her hands gripped the edge of the gate.
"Cameron, what are you doing here? We didn't expect you until next week." Her voice stood firm, while her posture did not.
"Don't question me. I decided to come home early." His voice changed from demanding to concerned. "I wanted to see our little baby." My mother cringed.
"She's fine, I'm sure they need you back out in Arizona." My mom suggested, her voice almost hesitant. My father shook his head.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Trying to keep me from our daughter?" He smiled evilly.
"No, no, of course not. She's sleeping at the moment, you wouldn't want to wake her, now would you?" My mom stalled, her grip on the gate tightening.
"Liar. I can see her, her eyes are wide open!" I, being too young to follow my mom's plan, ruined it for her.
The humming stopped, as did my flashback. I was too young to ever realize it, but my father is bipolar. That's why he was so demanding and gentle at the same time. The hissing and rattling continued; I looked around for the source of the strange sound. It was coming from the heater, which was obviously broken. It was freezing in here. I heard a television turn on, and it must have been in another room behind the door. I heard a news reporter.
"This just in, a twenty-eight year-old woman, Lily Maria Rea, has been reported kidnapped. She is hispanic, with short blonde, brown and blue hair. Lily Rea is about 5'6'', around 110 pounds. She was last seen in Jacksonville, Florida. Her kidnapper is a male in his late fifties, early sixties. Weighs about 200 pounds, is 5'10'', goes by the name of Cameron Rea. Rea [Cameron] is believed to be her father. He was last seen dragging Lily Rea down Gate Parkway, outside of Mary's Burgers. If seen, please contact police." The reporter informed. They're looking for me, Vic's looking for me. That was all I could think as I drifted off to sleep.
