The Flash

Chapter 1

"Hey Jas are you ready for the particle accelerator tonight???" My friend Daniella asked me. She goes by Danny for short though. "Ion really care about it. So I'm probably just gonna go home and eat." "Oh come one Jas, this is one of the biggest events in Central City!!" "Yeah and I can watch it on TV too" "Oh okay" she laughs. "Well I'm gonna go down to star labs for a close view" Danny says while grabbing her bags from the lab. "Okay have fun" I say while eating a slice of pizza. She leave and I open a file that was hidden under my desk. This file was on my parents murder. The police arrested my Aunt Casey and I know she didn't do it cause I was there.
*Flashback*
I woke up to the sound of my parents screaming. I ran out of my room. It was a super windy and debris was flying everywhere in my house. A strong man and a yellow blur were fighting and my parents were trying to stop them. I ran over to my neighbors house and was in tears. They opened the door and saw me in tears. When they asked what was wrong I was speechless and just ran back to my house. The mother chased after me. When we got back into the house. Blood was all you could see. I didn't know where it came from. If it was from the people fighting. I walked in further to see the bodies of my parents laying on the floor.
*End of Flashback*
I snapped out of my thoughts to hear the TV saying people needed to evacuate immediately. I didn't understand what was happening so I just closed the window and doors and sat down. But then BOOM. I race to the window to see an explosion from S.T.A.R labs. "What the..." I run to my desk and put the file away and put as much glass away as I could. Then there was a crashing sound and I look up at the glass roof. All of a sudden lightning comes through and everything goes black.

•Danny's POV•
I go into the lab the next day to see if any damage was done. I try to open our lab door but it was locked. I knock on the door "Hello?" No one answers so I dig through my backpack after it feels like 5 minutes I find my key. I open the door to see glass everywhere and Jasmine laying on the floor unconscious. I run over to her "JASMINE!!" I push her a little bit but she doesn't respond. I check for a pulse, she had one and it was normal. I call 9-1-1 and an ambulance comes and takes her to the hospital. I get in my car and drive to the hospital and wait a few hours. The doctors finally come out and tell me she was in a coma. I just start crying. She was probably my best friend. I can't lose her. The doctor tells me to go home and get some rest. I go home and go to sleep ready to see her tomorrow and every other day until she wakes up.
