Winter's pov

I just got back from New Orleans. I just graduated college and now I'm back. I have a feeling that the fun is about to start. I just parked my 65 GT mustang in front of the Lockwood mansion. I got out and grabbed my bags and went inside to see people. I saw my mom and the sheriff talking. I put my bags upstairs and walked over to them.

"Hi mom." I said and they looked at me.

"Oh my god your back!" She cried and tackled me into a hug and I giggled. She pulled away and Liz hugged me. We caught up and I let them talk again. I went to the Grill to see two new people at the bar.

"Winter!" I heard Matt yelled and I was tackled by the blonde boy I baby sat when he was a kid.

"Hey Matty." I said and hugged him and he pulled away.

"Everyone is going to be so happy your back." He said and I smiled.

"Fetch me a Scotch would you Matty dear." I said and he kissed my cheek and I sat near the new towners.

"Here you go Winter." Matt said and gave me my Scotch.

"Leave the bottle Matty Blue." I said and he chuckled and left the bottle.

"Your a new face love." The one closest to me said.

"Leave her be Klaus she has nothing to do with anything." Matt said nervously.

"Hmm Klaus the hybrid. The witch spirits speak about you." I said and took a drink of my Scotch and looked at him.

"Wait what?" Matt said and looked at me confused.

"Matty boy I know all about the supernatural world. I am a witch." I said and the one behind Klaus smirked.

"Winter Lockwood adopted child." I said and Klaus his hand out and I just looked at it than back at him.

"Well love I'm Kol Mikaelson." The guy behind Klaus said as Klaus pulled his hand back.

"I know who you are. Killing people won't bring your powers back Mr Mikaelson." I said looking at him and he was in shock.

"Caroline love care for a drink?" Klaus asked and she scoffed.

Care for a drink Carebear." I said and turned around and she let out a squeal.

"Winny!" She squealed and launched her self around me into a hug. She was cold like a vampire. I hugged her back and she pulled away.

"We have to catch up later okay." She said and she kissed my cheek and glared at Klaus than left.

"50 bucks says she's planning something." I said to them and they looked shocked. Klaus followed  her.

"Gross." I said and turned back to Kol.

"Fancy a round of pool?" I asked and he smirked and we went and played a round of pool when my neck always snapped. I woke up with a gasp next to a dagger Kol. Klaus came running and I pulled the dagger out of Kol and coughed and rubbed my neck.

"Bloody hell." Kol said and he looked at me.

"Your neck was snapped though." He said and I got up.

"I'm a witch in a town full of supernaturals. I'm smart enough to put spells to keep me alive." I said and pulled him up. I rose my hand and threw the vampire into the wall.

"You ought be grateful Kol would have killed you." The vampire spat.

"You do realize if you kill the originals you die with them right?" I asked and he was confuse.
