An average girl with bright young eyes dancing as the light greeted them with a kiss. They never settled on one thing for too long, always leaping from one thing to the next. That's what the other kids picked on; like remorseless chickens they picked her until the scars ran deep. They ran deeper than anyone cared to look, making the barrier between her and the world thicker than she could break. Nobody can say she didn't try, the bloody nail marks are her proof. She left behind a sister, brother, mother, father, and a note. The note found by the baby girl read,
"I have to go. I'm sorry, you don't deserve what I'm putting you through but there was no escape for me. I smiled but I was never happy. I laughed to hide the pain. I saw I was putting on a show for others, just putting on a mask everyday. I wanted to be selfish, just for once, and I decided that I would set myself free. I found my way out and I'm home now, I have found my angel wings. I love you mom and dad, but it was just too hard to keep breathing, but I will never suffer again. I will tell grandma and grandpa hello for you. Tell my sister to keep trying, she will will be able to read. Tell my brother that I went to live with buddy, his imaginary friend and that I love him. Tell the girls back in school that I forgive them and to give others a chance. Tell my teachers that it's okay they didn't understand, it's not their fault. Tell my best friend that he's a good boy and give him lots of treats, and please comfort him when he whines at my door for me. Please don't cry for me, I left happy, knowing I'll never be different again. Goodbye."
