Luna looked outside her window for a slight second away from the photo she was holding on to. Tears streamed down her face but she didn't bother wiping them off. There was more coming down either way. She was all alone. No one would bother sit beside her which satisfied her. She wasn't really social with people but that was about to change in this new life she was going to be in the US. She had a pretty complicated life here to begin with but hopefully things will be different this time around. She hoped it would be. She was going to stay with her cousin, Sasha who she trusted a lot. She was the only family left that Luna had.  As she noticed that they were arriving to close to her home, she got chills running down her body of nervousness. She was always like this when something new would come towards her. She hated new places as well as changes. She was so used to being in Europe with her grandparents but she was going to be here with Sasha and she had to suck it up whether she liked it or not. She slowly closed her eyes as memories of her past came flashing back to her mind.

Sasha was very special to Luna. She was always there for her whenever she wasn't busy with touring since she was a superstar sensation. Luna was always so happy for Sasha' success. She was like a big sister to her and she loved her a lot. She hadn't seen her in years since they were little. They would always play in the dirt, bicker a lot but in the end of the argument they would forget about it and play around with each other. That's what she loved about their relationship. They could never stay mad at each other. No matter what, they would always go back to loving each other.

After Luna left to Europe, she was still the hyper, fun girl that everyone knew about but then she lost the most important people she ever had in her life. Her grandparents. The people that raised her and cherished her like she was their own daughter which in some way; she was. They were very strict but she knew why they were like that. They loved her too much that they didn't want to lose her. She lost herself after that. She didn't smile nor laugh anymore. She kept an emotionless face all the time. She ignored her friends and everyone else that she would socialize with.

She was lost without them.

After a year of sorrow, she started to regain her strength and slowly coming back to herself. She had help of her family, especially Sasha. Even though she was out in the world touring; she still was there for her even if they were so far apart. She was so grateful to have Sasha in her life even through the bad times. She helped Luna get up on her feet and start a new life again.

She took a deep breath as she opened her eyes slowly; looking down at the photo one last time after placing it back inside her handbag and wiped her tears with the ends of her sweater as she stood up; grabbing her bag that was filled with the rest of the stuff she had and walked out of the plane. She looked around, seeing a lot of people being welcomed by their families. She smiled to herself as a memory came flashing back to her when she was younger with her grandparents. She quickly shook the memory and secretly stole a map of New York as she made her way to a coffee shop that wasn't far from the station. She took out her phone and turned it on as she looked the map, figuring out the ways around.

"Hello madam, what can I make for you today?" a waiter said with a smile on his face as he looked at Luna.

She looked up at him and gave him a small smile as she looked at the small menu, figuring out what she wanted to eat.

"I'd like a chocolate chip frappe and a blueberry muffin please." She said softly as she handed him the menu back.

He gave her one last smile before heading off to the kitchen.

She went back to the map, kinda getting the hang of where everything was. She then took out the applications of the job that she was going to start in a few days. She looked at the address and found them, they were near her apartment. She sighed in relief as she decided that she could go walking. She then noticed her waiter placing her muffin and drink on the table. She bowed slowly to him with a small smile on her face.

"Enjoy." He said politely, giving her a smile before attending to his other customers.

She took a long sip of her drink, closing her eyes in satisfaction. It had been a long time since she had one of these drinks. She then took a piece of the muffin and started to eat it. She didn't realize it that she already had finished it. Her eyes widen as she wiped her face. She couldn't believe at how fast she ate it.

"I must be that hungry." She whispered to herself as she took another sip of her drink.

"You were always a messy eater. That hasn't changed, Ni." A voice echoed in front of her and sat down.

She looked up with her eyes widen at who was sitting in front of her.

It was Sasha.

"Sas?" She gasped as she was about spilled her drink all over the table until Sasha caught it before it caused a huge mess.

Sasha giggled as she put her drink away from her.

"And causing a mess as always." She smiled at her as she felt Luna's arms around her neck, hugging her so tightly which made her smile go much bigger as she wrapped her arms around Luna. "I've missed you so much Lu." Sasha whispered in her ear.

"Me too Sas." She whispered back, trying to hold back the tears.

Sasha smiled at her as she stood up, getting her bag as she paid for her food and walked out the coffee shop.

"Let's go to your new home." She smiled at Luna as she nodded slowly.

As they made their way to her apartment, she couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy. She was nervous yes but with Sasha by her side; she felt a bit safe.

"Maybe this will be a good start for me." She thought to herself.
