Kayleigh Summers is a 21 year old girl, living with her boyfriend in LA. Sounds normal right?
Wrong.
She gets abused, raped and emotionally/mentally hurt, badly. By her boyfriend, Matt Sanders, a drug user and an abuser. But when Matt takes her to the store to get his drugs, one afternoon, will that one little trip change her life forever?
Meanwhile, Carlos Pena, a 22 year old boy, hanging out with friends the same afternoon. He notices a girl, Kayleigh, and a boy, Matt, tightly gripping her wrist, pull her into the store next door to where Carlos was. Carlos follows them and hides so, Matt doesn't see him. Until, Carlos finds a note from Kayleigh, explaining everything. He wants to save her. He does and they fall in love.
But when a couple years pass, Kayleigh gets into a terrible car crash. She goes to the hospital with bad cuts and she blacks out. The doctors and nurses try everything to save her, but it doesn't work. Carlos finds out and breaks down, becoming depressed with the lose of the girl he loved for years.
When Carlos starts thinking about the day they met to the night of the horrible crash. He realizes something..
Will Carlos learn the truth behind Kayleigh's death? Or will he let the death of Kayee take him down?
But the real question is... Is Kayleigh really dead?
