Friday Morning

"Kennedy, I'll kill you!" A voice shouted from next door.

I looked out my bedroom window and saw Peter, my next door neighbor, seething in anger covered in goop and glitter.

I sputtered out laughing, bending over to catch my breath.

"Kennedy you are so going to die!" He shouted.

"You don't have to yell. We are literally three feet apart." I rolled my eyes.

"You know how glitter is hard to get out. And its even down my pants blah blah blah..." as he continued to rant and curse me I snuck out my phone and pulled up the camera icon.

"Hey, Peter?" I asked, holding my phone behind my back.

"What?!" He snapped. He was a total mess. His eyes were enlarged, his hair was all very the place filled with glitter, his clothes was covered in glitter too.

I quickly took a picture, "You'd look like Edward from Twilight if you'd stand in the sun!" And ran away, shutting my window.

"Kennedy! Don't you dare post that anywhere." His muffled voice came through the window but I pretended to not hear him.

"What?" I said quietly but pretend to shout it.

"I know you can hear me, Kennedy. I'll get you back!" He shouted before closing his window and curtains.

Ha, get me back? Please.

He got me back. Ooh, he got me good.

"Who's the one laughing now?" Peter said, somewhat cleaned, I could still see the glitter in his hair.

"Hey Kennedy!" A girl with strawberry blonde hair came up to me.

"Uh, hey... you." She chuckled and pushed me a bit.

"Funny. So anyways, I was wondering if you could help me with something." She said, her hands on her hips.

"Depends on what it is...."

"Could you ask our history teacher to switch our spots? I really like Peter and I'd like to sit next to him, if you don't mind that is." She added quickly.

I felt something in my stomach but pushed it away as quick as it came.

"Sure, I don't mind." We walked to the classroom and I went to open the door but paused, "Are you sure you want to sit next to him...he smells a lot worse up close." I lied. Her eyes widened but nodded anyways.

"I don't mind." She gulped.

"Oh-kay..." I said grabbing ahold on the classroom doorknob, twisting it and entering the room.

"Mr-" I couldn't finish because something had dropped from the door and spilled on my hair and clothes.

I'm covered in glitter and Elmer's glue.
