A few days passed, with it came good and bad days for Aviana. While these things were happening, her godmother hung up the still drying clothes, 3 witches with odd symbols on their necks. They gave a small snicker, loud enough for her to hear.
She spun around. "H-How..."
"Ah... Sister..." One of them grinned. "Why did you hide my daughter from me?"
"She is not YOUR daughter! She was our other sisters and you know that!"
"That's right. We were triplets. Oh well, I killed her so long ago I nearly had forgotten. How have you been... Mythic?"
Mythic, the god mother, took out her wand, something she hadn't used in ages. "Stay back, Lilac. You're my sister. I don't want to do this."
"Do what dear sister? Curse me? Kill me? Please. You're too cowardly."
Mythic glared at Lilac and stepped back. "Masakari!" She yelped as best she could, a burst of dust temporarily blinding the 3 seeped from the end of Mythic's Ivory wand. She bolted off towards the woods as quickly as she could.
"How are they back?! Why are they here. I have to warn Aviana!" Mythic huffed as she ran. The footsteps of Lilac's feet and the other girls were close behind her. If she did get to her destination, she didn't have much time to warn Aviana. If she didn't... If she didn't warn Aviana in time, god help the poor girl be strong.
Mythic continued running. Soon, a angered yell was heard from Lilac. "Don't just stand around! GET HER!" At this point she Mythic felt like a prey running from it's predator.
She was never very good at magic and couldn't very well remember the spells let alone the ones her family made themselves. If she were caught one of two things would happen.
Her sister would curse her and take her voice away all the while torturing her. Or. Lilac would torture her before straight out killing her. Neither of these options was good especially since she needed to warn Aviana and there was no spell she could remember to warn her.
Despite all this she had to think about how Lilac was even alive. The last place Mythic remembered seeing her was when Aviana's mother was pulled from the rubble of the old bridge. It was believed that she did survive that but no one found her. When she killed Aviana's mother it was clear she as n longer the Lilac Mythic remembered. This Lilac. This horrible killer. She wanted Aviana's powers.
While Mythic ran she saw a by from just down the street, she remembered seeing him run into the woods occasionally when his parents weren't home.
She went to him and grabbed his arm. "Boy. Dear boy I am so glad I found you."
The boy at this point looked petrified not realizing she was out here though he had heard the rapid footsteps. "Wh-What..."
"Sh. Sh! Don't speak. If you speak they'll hear." She lowered her voice as she panted trying to catch her breath. "Your parents. I need you to go back to your house. Wait for your parents and DO NOT come out of that house. Do you understand?"
The boy stayed silent nodding.
"When they come home tell them Mythic Elula, two houses down th-"
"Y-Your Aviana's mum I know..."
"Oh good good. Tell them I'm out here. Tell them to call Aviana. Go."
The boy nodded as Mythic pushed him, Lilac and the girls footsteps getting closer and closer. "Go!"
The boy spun around on his heels and ran off. As he was out of sight, Mythic turned to get hit by the Cruciatus Curse, she fell to the side riving in pain as she screamed, the sound of the excruciating screaming echoed through the woods. Lilac ran up to her and laughed seeing her in such pain.
"Oh dear sister. You should have known better then to run." Her snickering quickly silenced into the grin before her wand raised making the grin an unpleased frown. "Where's Aviana?"
Mythic's screaming ceased when the curses time span stopped as she looked at Lilac panting with tears in her eyes. "I'm. Not. Telling you." She huffed.
Lilac growled. "You always were a little hard headed girl." She pulled her up and threw her against a tree. "Where."
Mythic kept herself up shaking her head. The girls began hitting and beating Mythic until she was whimpering and gasping for air mumbling Aviana's name.
"This'd be over if you'd just. Tell me."
"I'm not telling you!" Mythic yelped as one of the girls kicked her side.
Lilac gritted her teeth. "Crucio!" She yelled hitting Mythic with the curse. Yet again, Mythic screamed in utter pain. She couldn't reach her wand as it had fallen from her grasp the first time she fell victim to this unforgivable curse. This went on for 10 more minute before ceasing. She gasped for air as Lilac stood over her.
"You're useless." Lilac sighed heavily before raising her wand at her, Mythic grabbed Lilac's ankle tightly. "Avada Kedavra." She hissed like a snake, no emotion in her voice as Mythic's eye locked on Lilac for the last time before they dilated and went glassy, she fell lifeless, dead. Lilac shook her leg getting Mythic's corpse hand off her.
