Alex's POV

It's Friday. Friday! The day after Thursday. The day before Saturday. The last day of the school week for students to go home and relax or go on a trip to a far away place but come back Sunday to start the stressful process of school again. But for me, I have no place to go for the weekend. I only have the happy fun times of my house and my two brothers, James and Aj. Sounds fun right? No. Half of the time, Aj is  gone anyway working. All he has time for is to overly protect James and I. But, that I know of, not much has happened to make him want to baby us like that. It's not like I'm gonna start a gang and rule the world. I don't have time for that, I have other things to do, like just passing high school. You would think that the teacher's would be nice enough to not give any homework over the weekends. But Ms. Smith's work made me turn that thought right around. I wanted to go home and get ready to go out to a movie, but no, Ms. Smith wants to give us an extra packet to complete by Monday. Thank goodness that I'm almost done with it. I'll be glad to get it over with. I just have to get through these 7 blocks from the school, then I'll be home.
Block one, done and done. Block two, done, done and done. Block three, done, done, done and . . . oh no, teenagers. And not just any, there are four guys and one girl. That might not sound any alarm to you, but it sure does to me. Those people with their smug looks on their faces are The Five Rings. John, Tyler, Logan, Blake, and their leader Jessica. They are the most ferocious group of kids in the whole school. And they look younger that what they really are, like 12. But they're really 15. No one wanted to get in their way, not even the teachers, which is weird considering they are kids compared to them. They skipped school, did drugs, and got away with anything. But not today. They weren't rich, so they couldn't rule the school like in those TV dramas. So why not punish them? The first thing on my mind was, just walk up and give them a piece of your mind. But I saw those eyes burning into my head like they were looking at a bug that needed to be squashed immediately. I wanted to move, but my body froze in place like a statue. I didn't want any trouble, my brother gives me enough of that. So I looked up to the bright sky and pointed at a random spot.

Alex: Oh my gosh!

All I saw was a plane. But they didn't think so. They looked up anyway, alarmed at what's to come. My brain was telling me, run run! You didn't have to tell me twice. I booked it.
