Loren's POV
Sadie and I were eating lunch. When she saw Finn walk in she got up and left me alone. She knows how much I like Finn. While I was eating alone a guy with curly hair came up to me and said
"Hi, you look sad what's wrong?"
I explained to him what had happened and he said that his name was Gaten. Gaten and I instantly hit it off. I asked him a few more questions. He said the he and Finn used to be friends. Being the nosy person I am, I asked Gaten why he and Finn weren't friends anymore.
"He and I stopped being friends a few weeks ago because he started dating this girl"
"Why did you stop being friends though? Just because of some girl?"
"No this girl is different. She isn't like you or anyone that I know. She's the bad kind of different. She's the queen of bitches. Her last name is Sink. Do you know her?"
"Do I know her? Is that even a question? She is my best friend. Well was my best friend. But you are my best friend Gaten. Promise that you won't leave me for popularity?"
"Promise"
