"Clara, hurry up!"

It's probably my mom. Today we're moving to Kanto in order for me to learn more about Pokémon. I looked at Ninetales and saw she was very pumped. All our Pokémon were already transferred to our new home in Pallet Town. Ninetales and I rushed down the stairs where we saw an impatient-looking mother.

Might as well introduce myself. Hello, my name is Clara Jane Stellar and this is my number one partner, Ninetales. For my physical features, I have long, chocolate-colored hair and eyes as blue as the sea. My skin is kind of tan but kind of pale as well. If you must know, I have a LOT of Pokémon, not including all the legendaries I've caught. Yup, you read that right.

"Clara, do you know what time it is?" my mother asked.

"Umm... It's go time?"

"YES," my mother roared, "WE NEED TO LEAVE THE HOUSE NOW!"

I'm gonna be totally honest. I am really going to miss our home in the Kalos region. Sure, I don't get as many challengers as I do in other regions, but still it's a very relaxing place to go and have a stroll around the city. I looked at Ninetales and saw the sad look on her face.

"Will you miss this place?" I asked her.

~Yes-I mean we have lived here for the last 3 years, so it's going to be hard to adapt~ Ninetales replied. Yes, before you ask, I can talk to Pokémon. It's something weird I know, but it's a gift I've had ever since I was a child.

Before we knew it, we had arrived at the airport. We took out our suitcases from the trunk and closed it. I checked the time and - WAIT WHAT! OUR FLIGHT LEAVES IN 10 MINUTES! We ran and barely made it to our flight. To be honest, I could've flown all the way to Kanto with my Dragonite, but I figured it would need all the rest it could get.

We got on and sighed in relief. We found our seats and sat down with a huge THUMP. I luckily got the seat near the window and started flashing back on memories from Kalos.

Flashback

I remember when I first started my journey in Kalos. I had just finished travelling through Sinnoh were I managed to win the League. I was walking down the bright streets of Lumiose City with Vulpix to Professor Sycamore's lab. For some reason, he said he wanted to meet me right after I got home. I went inside to see no one.

"Hello?" I called out.

"Over here!" I heard a a faint voice reply.

I followed the voice only to find myself surrounded by my Pokémon. Turns out, the Professor was feeding my Pokémon at the moment. They reside at the Professor's lab for care.

"So what did you want to talk about Professor?" I asked curiously.

"Well Clara," he said," I've seen what a wonderful Pokémon trainer you've become, so I decided to give you a little something. Follow me."

We exited the room and went down the hallway to the lobby. In the lobby were three Pokémon: A frog-like Pokémon, a fox-like Pokémon and a Pokémon that kind of looked like a chestnut.

"Clara, meet Froakie - the water-type Pokémon, Fennekin - the fire-type Pokémon and Chespin -the grass-type Pokémon. As you know, these are the starter Pokémon a trainer gets when they are about to start their journey in Kalos. I figured since you love Pokémon, I'd give you one for your Kalos journey."

I stared open-mouthed at the Professor. Was he really going to give me a Pokémon?

I nodded and looked at the three choices. I had to admit; they are all very cute. After what seemed like a lifetime, I finally made up my mind.
