"Wake up!"
A loud voice filled the whole room, reverberating off the walls as the blinding lights flipped on, causing Madeline to wake up with a start.
What the fuck?
Madeline opened her eyes to the harsh light and squinted, looking around the room. There's no one here?
Just as she was starting to question who woke her up, the metal door to her room, more like cell, she thought, swung open and there stood Andy and his three henchmen from before.
Fuck, fuck, fuck!
Lieutenant Jay stepped forward, smirking at her with an evil glint in his eyes.
"Today is interrogation and experiment day!" He smiled as if it gave him some sick satisfaction.
Andy strolled into the room and looked Madeline over, somewhat amused.
"You look like shit."
"Thanks. I'm sorry I forgot to put on my prom dress for you this morning," Madeline retorted back. "I slept in the same clothes as yesterday!" She swung her feet off the side of the bed and took a deep breath trying to ready herself for the long day ahead.
As soon as she moved, both soldiers tensed up and pointed their tranquilizer guns at Madeline as if she was some rabid animal.
"At ease boys. She is no harm to us. She doesn't even know her own power." Andy continued to look at Madeline. "Jay, get the girl some different clothes."
As soon as the command was said, the lieutenant disappeared from the room and returned with a fresh pair of pants and an oversized t-shirt.
Madeline took the clothes the lieutenant gave her and stared at them then back at the three men.
"Okay... Um, could you all leave for a second?"
The soldiers reluctantly walked out of the room as Andy pushed them out along with the lieutenant. Before Andy closed the door, he threw her a hair tie.
"Put your hair up. It'll be easier on you and us today."
She had no clue what he meant by 'easier', but she wasn't going to question it. Andy seemed like a fairly decent guy. He was her age, so he had to know how she thought, right?
As Madeline slipped out of her old, ashy clothes from the day before, she put on the pants, which fit decently well, and the shirt that hung down to her knees. She couldn't help but stare at the old clothes, remembering yesterday's events. Tying up her hair, Madeline couldn't help but think of all the awful things they could do to her.
So much has happened within the last 24 hours...
A knock on the door sounded before the lieutenant called out.
"We're coming in whether or not you're dressed."
The door opened and all three men entered once again, Andy in front blocking everyone's view just in case Madeline was still changing. Luckily for him, she was done. Andy didn't want the lieutenant or even the soldiers to see her indecent. He respected the girl and he knew how Jay was.
Lieutenant Jay walked over to Madeline with handcuffs and cuffed her hands in front of her. He then pushed her to start walking out the door.
Nothing was said as all four of them walked down the seemingly endless corridors. Through the twists and turns, they finally came upon steps that lead to a basement floor. Andy lead the way, and Madeline followed closely behind with the lieutenant right behind her and a little too close for comfort. The soldiers trailed behind just in case something happened.
