His hands wrapped a tight rope around my legs. He made sure the gag in my mouth was right. His face was grim. He dragged me helplessly out onto the deck. The salty sea air stung my nose and face. He propped me onto the side of the boat. I looked at him with tears eyes, silently begging him to let me go.
"You're bad luck for my ship." His raspy voice said. He didn't even look sorry, he just pushed me into the depths of the ocean without one acknowledgment to me being a human.
I struggled, for a little. Before a pain started growing in my legs. I looked down, my vision was tinted by water, but I could still see my legs fusing together, forming a tail. And my neck felt as if knives were being sliced across. But I could breath. I wriggled my hands out of the rope typing them together then yanked the gag out of my mouth. I could see like I was above water. I knew then what I had become. A mermaid.
