Cassidy's POV
I finally arrived at the airport in Africa. I had barely any cell signal, but I tried to contact Liam because I hadn't talked to him in a week. I was in Africa doing charity work and they had no cell signal where I was. I picked up my phone and called him. I thought he would pick up almost immediately, but he didn't pick up at all. I was going to call Harry because he was the one I was closest to in the band, but I looked down at the time and I only had 20 minutes to get to my flight. Crap! I rushed through the airport and finally got to my gate. I can't wait to finally get home to my baby. I gave the flight attendant my ticket. "Oh wow! Liam Payne's girlfriend, huh?" "Haha. Yep, that's me." I said feeling myself blushing. "Well, aren't you lucky? Have a nice flight." "Thank you very much." I said before walking though the gateway and onto the plane. I sat down in the seat in the first row of the plane. I opened my bag and pulled out The Fault in Our Stars. After I got situated I decided to text Liam. "i love you babe I'm on the plane i'll see you soon" He still didn't reply. I started to get worried because he usually always replies right away. I was going to text the other boys, but we had to put our phones away. I started reading my book to try and get my mind off of it. It was going to be a long flight.

9:30 am
Liam's POV
I was driving over to Harry and Louis' house for a movie day with all of the boys. I turned my music up and started belting out the words. About 10 minutes later, I finally arrived. I got out of my car and immediately Harry burst open the front door. "Liiiiaaam!" he said excitedly. "Hi Harry." I started walking to the door when all of the sudden I heard a gunshot. An unbearingly sharp pain struck my head and everything went black.
