Alex stared out the window. He wasn't paying attention to what his social worker, Seabury was saying. He was probably lecturing him about how much of an idiot he was and how he was worthless. It was ok to him, he had heard those words countless times. They finally arrived at the Washingtons house. Alex wasn't surprised by the giant house they owned and the large field it was in. His first foster home, the Lees, had a much larger estate than that. He shuddered at remembering the Lees. Seabury practically dragged him all the way to the door he then rang the doorbell and plastered a fake smile on his face. A big man maybe early 40' late 30's was standing in the doorway. Alex took note that this man could probably beat the crap outta him. "Hello!, welcome Mr.Seabury and this must be Alexander." George said with a kind smile on his face. It's just an act, you don't deserve any love or kindness.
Alex nodded slightly knowing the voice was right. He shook George's hand "it's a pleasure to meet you sir" Seabury handed him his files and then walked off. His jaw dropped slightly at what he was seeing. sure the Lees had a better home, but there house was so filled with detail and the style was so calm and relaxing.  George decided to talk, Breaking the silence that had fallen between them " here, let me show you to your room". He lead Alex upstairs and into a hallway until the reached a pastel blue door. "This rooms right next to Lafayette's" Alex nodded  remembering they already had an adopted son. He opened the door to find A king sized bed with light blue sheets and white pillows. It had a desk a large bookcase and a tv plus a bathroom connected. Remember don't get to comfortable once they read your file and figure out who you really are they'll kick you out. The voice sneered and Alex just sighed and agreed. "Well
I'll let you get packed, Martha and Lafayette should be here in about 2 hours". Alex just merely nodded his head.  He set his beaten backpack on the floor and took of the remains of his shoes. He jumped on the bed and instantly fell into a fitful sleep. He woke up gasping it's just a dream, it's just a dream. Alex told himself a thousand times. He finally got out of bed to be tackled by a blue blur speaking rapid french. "Je m'appelle Lafayette, tu dios être Alexander" he said. "Oui". Lafayette just blinked in amazement. He smiled "tu parle français!!??"  He said as he giggled. "Oui c'était ma première langue". Lafayette squealed. Then a new figure entered the room. She was as tall as him 5'6, about as old as Washington. Brownish hair and a kind smile. "Hello! You must be Alexander, I'm Martha, George's wife." She then scolded Lafayette for being so rude. Alex was still trying to figure out what was going on. " here honey let's get some dinner you must be starving" there just faking it, there trying to make it look like they actually care about you.  Alex winced. Lafayette and Martha now had a concerned face on. "Are you ok?"
