Dead For Five Years

Seeing you again

Marie's POV

As tears gently roll down my cheeks,
I slowly stood up. Even though I'm crying with my head down, I know Aaron is right in front of me. He grabs my arms, and slowly drops to my hands and holds them tight.

"You were gone for five years......." I say sobbing.
" I know..... I'm sorry"
"Everybody thought you died....... I thought you were gone forever" I said still looking down with my eyes shut tight, trying to hold in the nerve to scream.
"I'm so sorry, I never wanted this to happen. Babe please look at me." Aaron says, using his hand underneath my chin to lift my head. Once I open my eyes and look at Aaron, tears roll down his cheeks, tears I haven't seen before, tears that showed his love for me.
"Babe...... Please don't cry this is not your fault" I say, staring into his eyes, still crying myself. "I'm just so glad your back."
"I'm so sorry Marie, I love you so very much, more than you could imagine"

Aaron let's go of my hands to grab my waste, he pulls me closer to him, to kiss me. The kiss was something I'd missed for years. When his lips touched mine, it was the best thing that had happened in five years.

"Oh wait, April, Wren, they gotta see you, the whole town!"
"Babe......." I quickly cut him off.
"They'll be so happy to see you!" I say quickly turning around taking a step forward before he grabs my hand.
"Hey!"
"Hon, I sorta don't want the whole town knowing I'm alive now. It's just that......"
"But they all love you?" I say concerned.
"I know, but I'm really tired and I kind want to just move alone with you, April, and Wren" he said looking at me all puppy like. I won't let him do what he doesn't want to so I let go.
"Okay, well can I at least go get April and Wren?"I ask.
" Them two only though, please......" He said letting so of my hand gently.
"Promise."

I quickly run out of the wood, and walk back up to the party were I asked April to give me some space for a second.

April's POV

After waiting a few minutes, I saw Marie running back from the wood, I turn around and yell for Wren to come here for a moment, hopefully hope'n she'd stop dancing with Travis.

"Hey!, Sorry, I was gone so long, but I gotta show you guys something" she said catching her breath.
"What's going on?" Wren says.
"I don't know?" I said looking at the wood in front of, us trying to see what's there.
"Please trust me and just follow me, I promise this is not a prank...."
"Like last time?" Wren says being sarcastic.
"I promise." She said not looking back at us, and leading our way through the trees. In this little trip I learned that you shouldn't walk in heels on fresh wet soil. Anyway.

As we followed Marie through the trees, I see a glance of a person, though I haven't seen here before. I turn around to see Wren curiously following behind me.
"Do you know what's going on?" She asked me.
"I wish I could say. But, no." I say quickly turning my head, that way I don't run into anything.

"Now please don't freak out."
