Olivia and Elliot haven't really talked about them in a few weeks, mostly they just talk about Elliot's kids or the job or how Olivia's doing, Elliot's still worried about her since she was kidnapped a month ago.
Elliot was sitting at his house alone again, Elliot is tired of being without her so he gets up and goes to her apartment and knocks on her door
Olivia opens the door
"Hey" Olivia said
"We need to talk" Elliot said making his way in her living room
"Um, okay" Olivia said sitting on her couch
"I cant not be with you Olivia, being friends is not enough, when I slept over that night all I could think about was laying beside you forever, holding you every night and coming home to you. I know you don't want it to be weird at work but I'll quit, I'll get a new partener, we can keep it between us, I don't care what we do as long as I can be with you Liv" Elliot said as he stood in front of her
"El, I- I" Olivia tried to talk but couldn't really find the words
"What!, Liv come on talk to me! tell me why we cant be together!" Elliot said getting louder becaues he was frusteraed
"Becaues I'm scared!, I'm scared of losing you! you and I both know I cant hold on to a man!, if I lose you then I lose my best friend, and my partner!, I want to be with you! but I cant!" Olivia yelled and looked down
"Oh..Liv I-" Elliot went to finish but Olivia cut him off
"You don't need to say anything El, you wanted to know why I couldn't do this and I told you" Olivia said looking down and trying not to cry
Elliot sat down in front of her on his knees and took her hands, he looked in to her eyes and smiled
"I love you Liv, if your not ready to do this yet then I'll wait, I told you before I would wait forever, your the one I want to be with, you know me more than anyone" Elliot said smiling
Olivia smiled and looked at him
"you only want to be with me becaues no one else would be able to put up with you" Olivia said chuckling
Elliot smiled and kissed her hands
"There's that smile I like, what do you want to do? if you want to wait, we'll wait, its up to you" Elliot said looking at Olivia
"Elliot, I don't know what I want right now' Olivia said
"how about we just wing it" Elliot said
"okay" Olivia said smiling
Elliot smiled as he leaned closer to her and kissed her
Olivia smiled and put her hands on his shoulders, kissing him deeply
Elliot moved closer and kept kissing
Olivia pulled away slowly when the phone ran
"I have to get that" Olivia said leaning her head against Elliots
"Okay go get it" Elliot said signing and sitting on the couch
Olivia got up and picked up the phone
"Hello?..." Olivia stopped talking and hung up and put the phone down slowly
"what's wrong?" Elliot said
"Th-that was the um the hospital, my mom fell an-and they don't think she's gonna make it" Olivia said
"what?" Elliot said walking over to her
