With a slight yawn, and a rub to the eyes, Jynx looked around the room. She must've fallen asleep for a few hours. The sun was just deciding to set when she sat down, now the sun was long gone past the trees with the moon high in the sky. Her students were off somewhere together. She could hear talking. She parted her hair down the middle in the back and pulled the two parts together in the front. After a few scratches to her back she rubbed her eyes, not realizing she forgot she had make up on, she noticed some foundation and eye liner rubbed off on her hands. She cursed lightly under her breath heading to her bedroom. Jynx took her time in using a wipe her face clear of the make up. The mirror reflected back a face that made her insides weak. The woman staring back was someone she knew long ago to be dead. She thought of the words of the man in her room the other night about covering her face up. Jynx pressed a palm to the mirror covering the mole under her eye. Finally with a sigh, she went towards the sound of chit chat echoing from down the hall.

It was only until she got closer to Thorn's room that she heard it, it was her voice. And Kakashi's. And Hiruzen's and Iruka's. She listened a bit more and leaned her back against the wall sighing with her arms crossed under her bust.

The door quickly slid open and Shiru sat kneeling on the floor. She looked up staring a bit. "You'd better come in."

Jynx shook her head unsure of what to say, if anything at all as she stepped into the doorway. Thorn sat on the floor next to Rose leaving a spot open for Shiru to come back and sit down next to them. All of them formed a triangle with a small recorder in the middle of them. Thorn looked up with a stern straightness to his lips. "Sensei," he pointed to his bed then the floor.

Jynx lowered her eyes and turned her head away looking down the hall instead. Leaning against the door frame she kept her arms crossed, not budging, "What is this all about?"

Shiru chirped up a whole new demeanor to her, "You've been lying to us. And we're not all too happy with you about it either. If you want us to keep working with  you, you need to spill it. All of it, too."

Thorn looked up pretty annoyed. "Not just lying. Hiding who she is. First off, what is your name?"

Jynx looked away showing a cocky smirk, "Jynx Shi."

"Bull shit!" Shiru glared and grabbed the recorder, "Here, maybe this will help you understand," she pressed a button and then another next to it. It started to replay the Hokage's words, "'What did anyone expect me to do? I saw a child in need. And I helped her. Yet, despite having to live in secrecy, and change her name, I still have a hard time not calling her by her birth name. Mostly due to her working for me at a young age with her father as a traveling sales man, and a secretive census taker for us. We had his daughter start at a young age, learn the trade early.'  Now what kind of lies do you think you can keep feeding us?"

Jynx held her hand over her mouth and closed her eyes trying to take a deep breath to calm herself time as she swallowed her pain and regret.

Thorn grabbed the recorder and narrowed his eyes at Jynx. "What demon are you talking about? How do you get carried away. And mainly, who was the man that Rose heard the one day? She said, well Rose, you go ahead and tell her."

Rose nodded and looked up sadly to Jynx for ratting her out. "I'm sorry, Sensei. One night a few days ago, ... I uhm had to get up for a glass of water. I was feeling lonely and just mixed with emotions feeling more alone than ever, and I heard talking coming from your room. I heard this man speaking, then there was a smaller voice, but I had no clue I guess."

Jynx stepped into the room only to sit on the edge of the bed. Her muscles were nervous as she pulled a leg up to her chest and wrapped  her arms around it tightly. She kept her chin on her knee and looked away from the group embarrassed slightly.
