Episode Three
“Haunted it becomes”
Scene I
Clay, Alan and Alice are at Alan’s place, the book is at the center of the table with some candles lighted up around it.
(Alan is telling the story)
Alan – It fell on my feet…
Clay – So you did not choose the book, the book choose you and you got stuck in it.
Alan – I called Alice right after.
Alice – And I searched for some information, I’ve found that the writer died before finishing it.
Clay – its Lane Bridges book, also known has as the Never Ever Read Book.
Alice – No, that’s not what I’ve read…
Clay – Haven’t you dreamed about someone hunting in the woods?
Alan – Why do you say that?
Alice – It’s true Alan… (Speaking to him blankly)
Alan – It is?? (Surprised)
Clay – Both haunted, the photo said it all.
Alan – I heard something about Lane Bridges. Something about his writings and tales, they all vanished.
Clay – All of them. (Pause) - Except one, this one, the one who’s been hunting innocents for years.
Alice – But why Us?
Clay – Not your fault honey. It’s his!
Alan – But…
(Interrupted)
Clay – Nothing, Lane Bridge’s wanted you first Alan… You did not choose him, he choose you instead.
Alice – Alan, Clay… Look…
Alice points to a black spot on the floor that wasn’t there earlier.
Clay – It’s here, run…
The lights starts to tremble and the candles go out. Alan Grabs the book and runs toward the door screaming for both of his partners. They leave the door open and all we can see is the Evil Presence going to the door slowly.
Scene II
They run to the woods where they take a rest catching their
breath under a tree.
Clay – We shouldn’t be here.
Alice – Why?
Alan – This is the place…
Clay – From your dreams, this is Lane Bridges woods.
They hear a noise on one of the trees far away and see someone coming, the book opens and a page flies.
The Evil Presence starts to walk towards them.
Scene III
Alan grabs the book from the floor and catches the page which says: “I was here all the time”. He looks at Clay.
Clay makes a run for Alan and tries to grab the book, tense moment between them while Alan fight to keep the book. The Evil presence appears from tree to tree coming closer.
Alice screams and Alan finally kicks Clay away and holds the boom with both hands and rips it apart. (Pages fly)
At that moment Clay starts coughing blood from its mouth and falls apart on the floor covered in black, full of blood and surrounded with the papers.
Alice hugs Alan for a moment and all we can see then it’s them looking at the floor for Clay.
(Fade Out)
