I put on my headphones and I lay down. The wind softly blew into my home. I close my eyes, I listen to the song. I sing quietly. It was so peaceful... like always. Nothing was new about this... It was always like this, no noises, nothing. It was so lonely here, I couldn't leave though... I loved being here; it was a beautiful place to live... a beach with an amazing view of the ocean, palm trees, beach houses... who wouldn't love something like this? When my brother was still alive… there would always be something going on... a party… music… something… but when he was around it was never quiet. I smile at the small thought.

“Brother… if you were here we would be out on the beach, partying like we used to! Remember the time when we pushed Carly into the water while she was singing?” I ask laughing. “And… the time when Sasha and You kissed on the beach and I caught it on tape. You guys were chasing me for so long!” I say looking down at the floor, smiling. “I still have that tape…” I murmur grinning. I didn’t dare to watch it because it would bring up memories that I wanted back so much…

“Oh! Remember the time we shoved ice down Tyler’s shirt?” I ask trying not to laugh. I lay back down on my bed. “If you can hear me… I want you to know that I miss you.” I whisper still smiling. I close my eyes, before I knew it, I fell asleep.
