Storm's POV

I felt the bright light hit my face. Air rushed through my lunges. I looked at the roof in my room.

I heard a gentle knock on the door.

"Time for breakfast, sweetie!" My mom, Juvia Fullbuster, said delightedly.

I put on some of my semi-loose pairs of cargo shorts and went into the kitchen.

"STORM?" My little sister, Sylvia, said.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Mom, look at Storm..."

Mom looked over to me and nearly passed out. "When did the kid version of your dad get here?"

"This is Storm." Sylvia said, shocked.

"W-what." I asked cluelessly.

Mom looked as if she might explode. "GRAY!!" then she whispered, "sama."

Dad got up. "When did the kid version of me get here?"

Sylvia looked as if she would explode. "THIS IS YOUR SON!"

Dad grinned at me.

"WHAT IS WRONG?"

Dad knelt down to me. "Let's just put it like this. Nice fashion statement."

I looked down and saw I was shirtless.

"Um..." I blushed.

Dad grinned. "Here, since you are 14 years old now, would you like to go on a quest with Nashi, Natsu, and I?"

I gave him a pure business grin.

"How much does it pay?"

"300,000 jewels."

"I get 60,000, right?"

"55,000."

"Deal. When is it?"

Dad checked his watch. "Now. Come on, let's go before you have to put a shirt on."

We went to Natsu's house.

Natsu was there. He looked at me.

"What magic do you have?"

Snow whirled around me.

"Snow make hammer!" I yelled.

Dad grinned. "Ice make shield!" He easily dodged it.

Natsu grinned. "Impressive."

"What is the job, anyways?" Dad asked.

Natsu grabbed the job request. "Phantom lord, they came back from disbandment, we need to wipe them out."

Dad flinched. "Those jerks who took out gramps?"

Natsu nodded. "That's him."

Happy, his blue cat, beamed. "Let's get Gajeel to join!"

"Why?" I asked.

Dad grinned. "Gajeel used to be on phantom lord."

I grinned. "Let's get Luna, too!"

Natsu scowled at me. "Why?"

Dad looked at me, a light in his eyes.

"Just saying, you'll might need to eat some extra fire..."

Natsu narrowed his eyes. "True, I'll go get her."

"Where's Lucy, dad?"

"Two things, one- call me Gray for this job. Two, she's on a job with Erza.
