Perrie & Kian: A PJO Fanfic

Chapter 1: Perrie's POV

"Perrie! C'mon! You're gonna be late for school!" my dad shouted as I stuffed my jacket into my rucksack. It was the first day of school. My parents first had to "approve" this school. My dad, Percy, is the son of Poseidon. ("What the gods are real?" "Yes you mortal they are!") My mom, Annabeth, is the daughter of Athena. So that makes me Poseidon and Athena's granddaughter. I run downstairs and grab a carton of orange juice and a granola bar and say bye to my mother. "Bye, Perrie!" she says.

I drink my juice and eat my granola as I walk to Jade's house. Jade is my ultimate BFF. She's my parents' friends, Piper and Jason's daughter. "Hey, Perrie!" she says and walks with me to school.

Jesy and Leigh Anne are waiting for us at the corner of the street. Jesy is Reyna and Leo Valdez's daughter. Leigh Anne is Frank and Hazel Zhang's daughter. We all walk to school and part ways when we go to class.

I grab my books and walk into homeroom, which for me, is chemistry. Mrs. Dare, or Rachel, which is what she lets me call her, is our teacher. "Class, I've assigned new lab partners. Look on the board for your new partner." I am the first one at the board. I look for my name. There it is! I'm partners with someone named Kian Castellan. I think he's new.

I find a guy in the back of the classroom that I've never seen before. But he looks beautiful. He has cocoa brown hair, and stormy eyes. He wears a sweatshirt and shorts. I approach him.

"Hey, you must be Kian. I'm Perrie, your new lab partner." I stick out my hand for him to shake.

"I'm Kian." is all he says. He shakes my hand, though. Kian doesn't look very interested in me. Maybe it's because I'm dressed like a hippie. Or its probably my purple lipstick. But that's just me.

Chapter 2: Kian's POV

Perrie sits down next to me. She's very pretty. Mrs. Dare starts talking about a chemistry project that we'll be doing with our lab partners. She says it'll count for forty percent of our total grade.

"So, what do you wanna do for the project?" Perrie asks me, smiling.

"Um, I don't know. You can choose."

We end up talking about things other than the project. We laugh, we smile, and blah blah blah. I give Perrie my number and she gives me hers. She's my only friend. I guess I can count my cat Frisco as my friend. Then I have two friends. Woohoo!

Perrie and I start working on the project and she invites me to Starbucks after school. I accept the invitation and then the bell rings for lunch. Perrie goes and finds her friends and I sit alone in the back of the cafeteria. Like a loner. Wait, I was a loner. I got up and started towards the vending machine when I fell forwards. Then I realized Bryan, the star football player of the football team, had motherflipping tripped me. "Whatcha doing, you little prick?" he asked me, then punching me. Yay. -_-

I guess I blacked out for like a minute or something I don't know. But what I do know is that Bryan was no longer attacking me. I opened my eyes and saw that Perrie had kicked him in the stomach and punched him in the nose and left eye. "Don't be an ass!" she said, slamming him against the wall. "Now, GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" Bryan and his entourage hobbled off. Yes, the "toughest" football player got beaten up by a girl.

Chapter 3: Perrie's POV

I sat in front of the Principal Edwards' office. Bryan was sitting across from me, holding an ice pack over his left eye. Kian is sitting next to me, his head in his lap. I turn to Kian. "You okay?" I ask him. "Yeah. I'm fine." Kian says. But he has a big, long scratch under his right eye and bruises all over his arms.

We talk to the principal a few minutes later. She didn't punish me because I was standing up for Kian. But she did suspend Bryan for three days and suspended him from the football team for a month. She let Kian and I leave school early. Kian and I decided that we would go to my house, so he could clean his wounds and stuff.

"Why did you stick up for me?" Kian asks me in the car.

"Because I had too. You're my friend." I said.

"Did you know Bryan or something?" he asks me.

"Yeah, he was my ex-boyfriend."

"Why'd you break up?"

"Cheated on me. Then he said he "loved" me. He's such an ass."

"Oh. That's nice." Kian said. I started to laugh uncontrollably. That was adorable like omfg.
