Maybe life wasn't easy... It had its twist and turns and ups and downs but whoever said it would be perfect? Whoever thought life would be easy? Life is like a game but more like a maze, you never seem to find the destination until you die... You can get stuck in a corner and that might weaken you but then you keep trying to find a way out.

Here, let's read the rules:

1. It starts with a cry. A simple cry that signals that a life has been born and can take you into just a little bit of the maze.

2. You can only walk farther into the maze but you can never look back. You can't travel back through time and be young again, it's not like that.

3. Once you reach the great age of 10, you will start to feel different. You start to feel more mature and that playgrounds aren't for you anymore. You have to be a big kid now, and that means middle school.

4. Middle school is the start of chaos. It means drama and crushes and relationships and best friends and homework and annoying teachers and most of all... PUBERTY.

5. You seem to develop feelings for one person in a different way that you did in elementary. You want to ask them out but you're too shy and you know you're too damn awkward for anyone to like you. So you just deal with it until high school.

6. High school is worst than middle school. It is the start of hell and x10 chaos. It is the start of relationships and the end of breakups.

7. You end up falling in love with someone you really like. He/she loves you the same way. You guys are inseparable. You know you would put your life on the line just for them but life is a train wreck so love won't always last.

8. You get to roll a dice. You land on 3,2,1 and you'll get your cheesy happily ever after with the one you love. You get the whole package, a garden wedding with all your friends and family, you'll have a great house, a great job, and you'll get adorable sweet kids. Roll a 4,5,6 and you'll get the complete opposite. I won't even describe it. It's just pure hell.

9. You grow old and then people start disappearing for a reason you don't know until you notice they're dead. You start feeling weak and tired and the days are longer and the nights seem to be shorter than it was when you were young. The pathways in the maze starts getting shorter and there are not a lot of corners that you can get lost in.

10. You reach the end of the maze. The final destination. You meet the arch above your coffin and you lay down on  the soft green grass and close your eyes. Death...

Now that is how the maze of Life goes. It's a game that you are trapped in for who knows how long.

All Millie knew was that she was stuck. But now she's forgotten all those corners and all those misleading pathways. She tried to forget but some still last and haunt her until she couldn't sleep, until she couldn't breathe because it was all suffocating her. She tried to shut away the burning image in her mind. But she couldn't. His face was still there and his eyes. The brown eyed boy was still alive in her eyes...
