This song is so powerful because it reminds you how great God is. The lost are saved, they find their way, at the sound of His great name. Every fear, no matter how great it is, has no place at the sound of His great name. All the weak find their strength at the sound of His great name. No matter what's bothering you, what's hurting you, what's causing you fear, it will all be put right at the sound of His great name. No matter what's going on in your life, God is there for you, and he is the almighty God. No one can lay a hand on you. The devil flees at the sound of His great name.

Those words are so powerful. The name of Jesus alone sends shivers up my spine. When I sing it, or listen to it, I can fell the presence of the Holy Spirit. Whenver I feel scared, I sing this song to myself, and all of a sudden I feel better. I can go to sleep. I can close my eyes, knowing that God is always with me.
God is with you. He will not forsaken you. I encourage you to listen to this song, and think about how great God is. Don't focus on the terrible things in your life. Just think about how great He is.
