We all have our ambitions our hopes our dreams some say dreams may be  impossible to reach but if you reach for the stars Anything is Possible Any Dream can become reality this is my story about my journey into the impossible into the world of imagination into the world of fairy tales. I'm James Xander this is about my journey from the world we all know to a world and land full of Magic and wizards and how I became a member of Fairy Tail.

        Chapter 1: A fairy Tail Beginning

"In a land far, far away, lies the Kingdom of Fiore, a small peaceful nation of 17 million, and a place filled with magic! Found in every home, bought and sold in every marketplace, for most, magic is merely a tool, a mundane part of everyday life. For some, however, magic is an art, and they have devoted their lives to its practice. These are the mages. Banded together into magical guilds they apply their skills in search of fame and fortune. Many such guilds dot the landscape of Fiore. But there is a certain guild in a certain town that soars high above the rest, one from which countless legends have been born... a guide that will no doubt continue to create legends well into the future. It's name... is Fairy Tail."

He twisted and turned, James woke up from deep sleep in a cold sweat his heart  pounding like a drum. "what is with these dreams these visions? I must be watching too much anime I better get to sleep I've got to go to class in the morning but still that dream felt so real".
The next day he went to class as usual, did his homework started towards home as he usually did however he would never reach home. His car made a loud noise so James pulled over to assess the damage. "You've got to be kidding me 2 flat tires and an oil leak!!!! This is just my luck!!!" He took a few breaths to calm down and then started down the sidewalk in the direction of his house when he spotted an antique store that he had never seen before especially in this part of town.
Curiously he looked into the window of the derelict shop and saw some interesting things like an old flint musket on the wall or an old flag framed right above it. He decided to go in due to him being a huge history enthusiast and maybe he could get lucky and find something interesting to buy.
He opened the door and walked in, the shop was dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in years. He walked around for several minutes until he heard a voice speaking to him " can I help you" the voice said " I saw your shop on my way home and was just curious and wanted to look around". " I  don't have anything here for young men like you but if want to browse do it hastily we close in 5 mins."
Five minutes passed James didn't find anything. He said by to the shopkeeper and started out the door when something caught something glimmering out of the corner of his eye in the glass cabinet it looked like a key a golden key with some sort of symbol resembling a fairy or something else yes the shop owner about it and he had no idea what it was or where it came from. James asked to see the key he didn't know why he asked because it wouldn't be something he would be interested in but something was drawing him to it.
James asked how much would he want for it and the man just said give me 20 bucks and it's yours. He thought it was a reasonable price so he paid and then left looking at his new object he was puzzled at the mysteries of where this key came from and what was its purpose.
He finally reached home and reached in the pocket for his house keys he realized in the fit of rage I forgot the keys in the car down the road and just for shits and giggles he thought well maybe this key that he just bought from the antique store might open the door.
So he pulled out the key and then to good another quick glance at it he saw an Engraving on it reading " recite open gate to a new world" and then turn. He didn't think you would actually do anything so he did it anyway he recited the words and then turn the key and to his surprise and seem to unlock the door but when he unlocked it and stepped inside to what he thought was his house you realize something was seriously wrong. He was quickly sucked into the doorway door shutting behind them key shattering for what reasons unknown and everything went black.

When James came to he found himself face down on the street but what Street? He looked around and didn't recognize anything none of the scenery none of the people nothing. With questions standing in his mind staggered to his feet and walked up to one of the bystanders and asked where he was they looked at him puzzled as if he was off his rocker but they replied to his question. They said you're in Fiore my child.

Authors Notes : I know I messed with how Keys work in Fairy Tail but I couldn't make my idea work without altering it just for that one moment. I hope this makes sense LOL I don't really write stories but when I came up with this I thought it was a cool idea to do in my spare time I hope I get to write more of this story in the future when I have more time and to actually get into the Fairy Tail stuff with Natsu and Gray
