Hey there! My names Niall Horan. Yes i'm in the band One Direction along with my four best friends. However one of my bandmates Louis Tomlinson and i share a secret. One that no one else knows except for Emma, Cleo and Rikki. We're merman. Now your probably thinking 'What the hell! How is that possible?!' Well its quite a story. It all started in the first week we came to Australia for a holiday....
Flashback (Still Nialls Pov)
"Why don't you lads wanna come?" Louis asked. Louis and i were trying to convince Harry, Liam and Zayn to come on the boat with us. "We've had a busy day of exploring. I'm tired." Zayn replied. "Buzzkill." I say. "Hes right boys. I'm tired to." Liam said. Louis and i rolled our eyes. "You guys can go if you want." Harry said. "We shall!" I yelled. Louis and i started walking outside and we heard Liam shout. "Be careful and don't be to long!"
I laughed as we went over the waves in our boat. "Woohoo!" I yelled. Louis laughed at the amount of noise i was making. Suddenly the boat came to stop. My smile dropped from my face as i turned to Louis who had the same look on his face. "What happened?" I asked. "I don't know...I think we ran out of fuel." Louis replied. "What?!" I yelled. "We're out of fuel." Louis said again. "Great were in the middle of the ocean and we run out of fuel just typical!" I yelled. Louis came over to me and started to get me to calm down. "Niall its gonna be ok." He said. "But how? Its dark, and were stranded in the ocean." I say. He grabbed my shoulders and looked into my eyes. "The lads will find us." He says. "It could take forever and they don't even know where we are." I say. He smiles softly. "They'll find us. In the mean time lets get to land." He says. I looked at him confused. "Theres nothing here." I say. He points behind me. "What about that island." He says. I turn around and see an island near us.

"Are you sure?" I ask. He sighs. "Its all we've got." He grabs out two paddles and hands one to me. I sigh and start paddling heading to this island.
As soon as we got close to the beach of the island i jumped out and layed down on the ground as if i was trying to hug it. "Sweat ground." I say. "You can say that when we get back to the hotel." Louis says. I glare at him. "Let me have my moment." He laughs and begins to walk away. My eyes widen. "Where are you going?" I ask. He turns to me. "I'm bored and we're on an island. Lets explore." He says. "But what if the lads come?" I ask. "They'll see the boat and know we're here. Come on Niall i don't wanna go alone." He says. I huff and get up following him into the jungle of this island.
We got to a rocky bit of this island. Louis jumped over some water landing on the other side. "You coming?" He asks. I nod and go to jump. My jump is cut short when i slip and start falling down a hole. I yell in horror. "Niall!" Louis yells. He quickly jumped back over and grabbed my hand trying to pull me back up. "I gotcha." Louis said. "Louis don't you freaking let go!" I yell. Louis goes to pull me up when i see his foot which is beginning to slip. "Louis!" I yelled. But it was to late his foot slipped sending both of us sliding down this hole. We landed on a bunch of dirt. Louis and i both groaned at the impact. "Niall? Are you ok?" Louis asked. "Yeah i'm fine. You?" I asked. "Just peachy." He replies. I laugh softly and help him up. "Theres no way of getting back up that hole." Louis said. "Theres gotta be another way out. Lets go look." I say. We followed the stair case of rock and came into this strange room.

It was beautiful. I looked over at Louis who had the same expression as me. "What is this place?" I ask. "No idea." Louis replied. I walked over to the walls while Louis looked at the water. The walls were made of a strange type of rock. None that i'd ever seen before. "Look!" Louis exclaimed. I turned to him. "What?" I ask. "Theres a way out. Through the water." He said. "Are you serious?" I ask. He nods. I walk over to him. "Come on then lets go." I say. We both quickly dived into the water. We came above the surface. "This is gonna be long. Make sure to keep holding your breath." Louis said. I nod. We take a deep breath and are about to go under when suddenly the water starts to bubble. Louis and i look at each other both slightly scared about whats happening. Little tiny sparkles then float up into the air heading for the top. Louis and i both look up and see them going for the moon. The full moon. The moon makes its way over the hole after a few seconds and the bubbling and sparkles stop. As if nothing happened. "Come on lets go." Louis said. I looked at Louis who still stared at the sky but looked at me after a few seconds. "Deep breath." I nodded. We dove under the water and started to swim out.
It took a little more then twenty seconds we finally made it to the surface. I coughed a few times trying to get used to the air again. "You alright?" Louis asked. "Yeah i'm fine." I reply. "Louis! Niall!" We hear a familiar voice yell. "Harry!" Louis and i both yell. Another boat suddenly appeared which the other lads were in. They quickly came and helped us out of the water, wrapping towels around us. We told the lads that we were fine but we didn't mention anything about the cave.
The next day Harry, Liam and Zayn were acting very protective but i can't blame them. I mean we got stranded in the middle of the ocean. I walked into the bathroom and ran myself a bath. I then stripped off my clothes and layed down loving the warm water touching my skin. After a total of ten seconds of relaxation my legs started to fell weird. Sparkles started coming from them and my legs turned into...A TAIL. I stared at it eyes wide. What the hell is this! As i'm freaking out in my head someone knocks on the door. "Niall i gotta use the toilet. Can i come in?" Louis asks. My eyes widen more. "Uh hang on a second!" I yell. I quickly grab the shower curtain pulling it across covering my new feature. "Can i come in now?" Louis asks. I quickly make sure my tail is covered before i yell. "Yeah!" Louis walked in and quickly used the toilet. "You know that we've all seen each other naked before." Louis says. "Yeah i know but... I'm a little self conscious?" I say more as a question. Louis looks at me strangely before flushing the toilet. He heads over to the sink and washes his hands. In a matter of seconds i watch as Louis falls to the ground with a tail that looks exactly like mine (AN: Like Zacs from Mako Mermaids) He stared at it eyes wide as did i. After a few seconds i finally snapped out of my trance. "Looks like its not just me." I say. He stares at me completely confused until i open up the shower curtain revealing my tail. He stares at it eyes wide and i know that were thinking the same thing 'What the hell.'
That was the day we found out what we were. Merman. Everytime we got wet it took ten seconds for us to pop a tail. Our transformation was two months ago. And we've befriended three girls Emma, Cleo and Rikki. They are mermaids who have powers. Emma can freeze things, Cleo controls water, and Rikki can boil things. Louis has electricity. Which means he can take away lighting or make lighting with the palm of his hand. I however have the power of telekinesis which means that i can move objects with my hand. Most people think its with the mind but their idiots.
The lads don't know a thing about our new life and we don't plan on them finding out anytime soon. Sadly we're only in Australia for a few more months which means goodbye moon pool. I mean we can easily swim back in under an hour but its not the same.
We haven't caused any suspicion and we don't plan to. The lads are not finding out about us..
