II. D E L E T E D S C E N E

"Baby I don't need dollar bills to have fun tonight!" I sang, moving my hands wildly in the car as puddin' laughed at my state. The windows were rolled down and the chilly night air blew in, the radio was turned to the maximum volume with Sia's voice radiating throughout the car. It was our fourth year anniversary and we were celebrating it.

The problem is that, we didn't know where to go. We had been to all the places that we were roaming around the city aimlessly looking for someplace to bring chaos to.

"Wooh!" Puddin' shouted as he stepped on the pedal, going at an insane speed which I loved.

"Faster!" I yelled, gripping the seats tightly as I felt the adrenaline rushing through my veins, butterflies flying in my stomach. I laughed out loud as I moved around, hitting my arm on the window as puddin' swiftly turned around a corner.

"Ya know." Puddin' winked at me as he drove. "That's what she said."

I blushed a deep red before giggling at my puddin and reached forward, giving him a kiss on his lips as I moved to sit on his lap. Soon, I was leaning against the window and kissing puddin' feverently as he continued driving with his eyes closed. He growled into the kiss, making my toes curl and I moaned, pulling him closer.

The danger, the passion, the love, the adrenaline, the near-death experience is what I crave for with Puddin'. It makes me feel more alive than ever. I pulled away and laughed when he made a pouting face.

I looked to the front and saw that we were in a silent part of the city, the streets were almost empty but not dirty.

Puddin' stopped the car. "I think I have found our destination."

"Ya?"

He pulled on my waist, inching me closer towards him and tickled my hips playfully to which I squirmed and giggled. He reached forward, giving me a peck on my nose. "Ya."

He held on to me while we both hopped out of the car and started walking. I interwined my hands with his as we walked along the empty street.

I looked at puddin', still unsure of where he is taking me and then his eyes brightened all of a sudden as he stared ahead. I looked up and saw that it was a local zoo.

"A zoo!" I squealed excitedly.

Believe it or not, but I have never been to a zoo. Yeah, sucks to be me when I was young.

"Excited?" He asked, holding my hand tightly. He laughed when I nodded my head eagerly like a child. His expression turned serious all of a sudden, and his voice turned soft as we stopped in front of the entrance. "You have never been to a zoo, have ya?"

"No." I shook my head as I looked at the lock on the gate.

Immediately, my heart sank. "It is locked puddin'. How are we going to ge-"

Bang.

I blinked, screaming as I moved away from the gate. I heard puddin' laugh beside me and I relaxed immediately while giving him a stink eye before walking away inside as I pushed the gate open. I let go of his hand as I continued walking. I could hear his laughter dying down.

"Aw. Come on, babe." He cooed behind me as I walked ahead. "It was for fun."

I ignored him as I walked in deeper, looking around at the sign. There were different arrows pointing to different paths but one arrow caught my sight.

'The Wild Animals'

I quickly smiled enthusiastically as I walked along the path.

"Wild animals? Good selection baby!" Puddin' said behind me, and I almost opened my mouth to reply when I remembered that I was ignoring him before this.

I walked along the path when I saw a huge animal, with soft mane and light brown skin, its eyes glowing brightly in the dark.

Lion.

I continued walking, admiring all the animals. The Leopard, the cheetah, the tiger, the white tiger, the elephant, the zebra and many more. I could hear the faint sound of puddin' murmuring something behind me but I just continued ignoring him as I looked around. But, he eventually stopped after a while.

It had been more than twenty minutes in the zoo and my hands were flat against the glass as I looked into the eyes of the king cobra, bending over the rails to look at it closely. It was staring right back at me, hissing once in a while.

"Baby, your ass looks hot from here."

I rolled my eyes and bit my lips to prevent myself from laughing at his failed attempts to get me to talk to him. I backed away from the glass, waving at the snake as I muttered a silent 'goodbye'. Continuing down the path, I hopped around, feeling energetic and the night was getting darker.

"Still ignoring me?" His teasing voice echoed in the air and suddenly his footsteps became faster and soon he was walking backwards infront of me, and I huffed, crossing my arms around my chest.

"Its our anniversary baby. Talk to daddy." He grinned widely, knowing that he got me in that one. I was going to open my mouth to reply when a sound made me stop walking.

I blinked my eyes and looked at his mouth.

Nope, he is not laughing. The sound echoed around the zoo again and my eyes widened as I looked at puddin's lips.

Nope, his lips are still not moving.

I looked around and started running towards the sound. I could hear puddin' following behind me silently as if he understood my dilemma. The sound came again, this time much closer and I looked at the animal infront of me, moving around threateningly as I admired it.

A hyena.

Its laugh. It was just like how puddin' laughed. It had a tinge of evil in it. It was like as if it was mocking death. Its green eyes were shining through the dark as it emerged out from the shadows, its eyes looking straight at me. Its almost as if it had called me here.

"I want it." The words tumbled out of my mouth as I looked at puddin'. He seemed ecstatic about the fact that I was talking to him but chose not to bring it up.

"A hyena?" He asked questioningly.

"I love the sound it makes." As if on cue, another one of its laughing sounds echoed through the air, and my eyes sparkled with admiration. Puddin' walked closer towards me, resting his hands on my hips as he pulled me towards his chest. I looked up at him to see his expression turning serious and my heart sank at the thought of him rejecting it.

"Then I want one too."

A smile lit up my face at his reply and he smiled together with me. "Happy anniversary, puddin'."

"Happy anniversary, my snuggly cuddly cutie bear." He pulled me closer, tickling me as he said so and I laughed, the hyena laughing together with us.
