"Who are you?"

"What?"

"Who are you? You're in his phone as 'babe',"

"I, uh, I'm- who are you? Why do you have Alex's phone?"

"I'm his fiance, Eliza."

"Fiance? Like, he's- he's going to, like, m-marry you?"

"That's what fiance means. Now, who. are. you."

"I'm- I'm, uh, I'm John,"

"You, uh, you heard me messages? I, uh, I-did he?"

"What?"

"Who are you to him?"

"What do- what do you mean?"

"Who are you to my fiance? Are you two in a relationship? Is he cheating on me? You're in his phone as 'babe', so I'm pretty sure he is-and with your messages I can't deny it. But tell me, are you helping my fiance cheat on me?"

"I, uh, I didn't - I didn't  know. I-I'm sorry. You don't-I lo-I'm sorry."

"Don't be,"

"Wh-what?"

Maybe-maybe meet up at the coffee shop soon? You love that coffee shop. The one that's all hipster and cliche. You love that coffee shop. We should go. We can talk this out. Phone Call

"Hey Alex."

"John! You called me back."

"I, uh, yeah. I did."

"Listen, John, I'm sorry. I feel terrible about what I did to you. I shouldn't have put you through this. I'm sorry. Can we meet up and talk in person? Please?"

"Alex you need to stop. Work things out with your fiance, not me."

"I can't John."

"What do you mean you can't Alex? Just go talk to the girl."

"John she broke up with me. She doesn't want to talk to me."

"So what am I then? Some sort of rebound from her? I can't be that. I can't be the one being used Alex."

"You are not that to me John. I had been planning on breaking up with her since the day I met you."

"So then why didn't you?"

"I don't know John. I was falling in love with you and I don't understand why I couldn't leave her."

"What'd you say?"

"I don't know why-"

"No. Before that."

"I-I was falling in love with you."

"You were?"

"Yeah. I was."

"Alex."

"I'm sorry John. I messed up. You don't have to give me a second chance, but I want to apologize in person."

"Okay."

"What? Really?"

"Yeah. I'll at least let you apologize in person."

"Thats- that's great! But, um, at least?"

"I need to think some stuff through, let's just start with that in person apology. How about we grab coffee?"

"Coffee'd be great. How about that little place you love?"

"Yeah. Let's go there. Are you, uh, are you free Friday morning? I'm free before work."

"Yeah. I'm- I'm free."

"Okay, well, uh, see you then."

"Bye John."

"Bye Alex."
