=JACK FROST=
Where am I?
What is this place?
It feels so warm... So warm and peaceful... I feel like I don't need to worry about anything. I wanna stay here... Forever...
Then, I saw where I was... I'm in a meadow. A frozen meadow. The pond in the middle was beautiful to skate in. Every step I take, swirling cotton like strings come out of the spot where I stepped on. I know some would say spring time is better, but for me, winter and ice is my thing. The cold is where I belong. It feels like I'm home. As I went nearer the pond, something appeared. A white flower in the middle of the frozen pond. I wasn't sure how it grew there or what kind of flower it is since it still hasn't bloom. I went near it, and the warm and peaceful feeling keeps getting better and better. It is so beautiful... I touched it and suddenly, it transformed into something. After a few seconds, it was a girl! I couldn't see her face, she is facing the other side. Her hair white as snow, braided then bunned. She has bangs that face the left side. As she opened her eyes, she turned her head on her left shoulder, and wow.... She has those beautiful blue and round eyes. I was just stunned. The she just smiled at me... She slightly opened her mouth and.....
BOOM BOOM BOOM!
I woke up. Damn! Just a dream.. The only thing I remember is the warm feeling and her... That smile, those gorgeous eyes... and her.
"Com'on, Jack! Better get ready for school. First day as a sophomore, you know!"
Oh, meet my older sister, Silvy. Short for Silveriana. She is a dentist. Since our parents died 4 years ago on a car accident, she took over. She actually did a good job with it... Now, our lives are back to normal, but without our parents, that's all..
Well, it's gonna be another long day! So, I got up, took a bath, and wore a white t-shirt, black pants and socks, black sneakers and a blue varsity jacket. Grabbed my blue backpack, hand-combed my hair, and now I'm good. As I opened the door and went outside my room, I could smell what Silvy is cooking. Corned beef with a lot of onions. My favorite. Every mondays and other special days, she would cook me my favorite which would always make my day. As I went to the dinning area, Silvy is already preparing the table for breakfast. Still wearing her red apron and her silvery-white hair ponytailed. Her hazelnut colored eyes just looked so peaceful and happy. Unlike a few months after mom and dad passed away, she was so busy that she didn't have time to even say a word to me. But since I took her to our church, she felt a little better and manage to get throught the test. (We're a Christian family, by the way.) Then she went back to who she is. She washed the grease off her hands and took off her apron and smiled at me joyfully.
"Wow, my favorite. You're the best, sis." I complimented her.
Yep, she is the best. The only family whom I got left and is very close to me. The only one who really listens to me physically, but well, I know God still listens to me. I couldn't help but smile at her too.
"Well, it is my little bro's first day of school. Wouldn't it be good if we'd start your day even better with your favorite breakfast?"
No doubt! She really is the best! That made me giggle.. When we sat down, wow... The corned beef smelled so good! Silvy prayed for the food and we dug in and I took a lot of onions!
"Woah. Slow down with those onions, Jack."
"Oh, sorry... Well, it's delicious." I replied and she just smiled back. While I was just eating up my corned beef with rice, I couldn't help but remember those blue eyes from my dream last night. I was too consentrated about thinking who she is or where did she come from or where she is that I just stared at my food and my sister noticed me just froze in front of her. Slowly, I regained my consciouness and I can hear my sister calling me.
