June 7th

Hey! So this is the first book I've wrote ever! if you don't like this book just don't read it I really don't want any hateful comments :) this chapter will be short but they will get longer as I go on, this one is mostly just to set the plot. Anyways I hope you guys like it!

P.s in this story emma is 18 but at the start she's having a dream about when she was 12.

"Emma! Jordan! slow down I can't keep up!" My mother yells as me and my best friend Jordan run around the fair grounds looking for another ride to go on.

I stop and look at my mom who's about 10 ft behind us, out of breath from trying to keep up with us. "Sorry mom but we just wanna go on them all before the fair closes"

"I know you guys do, I just don't want anything bad to happen to you guys."  My mom says with a look I can't seem to understand on her face. So I just say ok and turn around to Jordan who has disappeared somewhere into the crowd of people.

"Jordan?, Jordan its not funny where are you?!" I yell jumping try to see a bit higher but my 4"11 height dose me no justice at all.

I'm to scared to scream when I see Jordan's hat on the ground with him no where around it, and it's not just any hat it's the one I gave him when we were 10 he's never taken it off or went anywhere without it.

"Mom!!! Mom!!!!" I scream tears streaming down my face as I run towards her clutching Jordan's hat in my small arms....

I jolt awake feeling hot tears dripping down my cheeks, every year around this time it all comes back, the day I lost him. The day I lost my best friend. Who I now after six years have lost all hope in ever seeing again. 

So I reach over to my bedside table grab my sleeping tablets pop two and chug some of my water and try to drift off to sleep before my mother or sister realize I'm up again and they worry about me more than they already do.
