Abel's POV + Eídos' POV
-Abel first-
The 3rd day aboard ship. It's not like I hadn't been on ships before. But with new people and me, we don't usually mix. It all turns out for the worst. Cain always gets mad at them and fights them off or threatens them and they transfer back. It's been the same thing. But recently, I've come to know a few good people here and there. The navigators of the new class, Selene and Eídos, they know what they're doing. It's good to know I've got them behind me. But I miss things..I miss Cain a lot recently. He's always causing drama and damn it, I wish he would learn. I hold him deeply but..it's not just him I am missing. It's home. The house, the school, t-the days where I came home and sat in the window. All these things are just distant to me. I'm sure I'm not the only one from earth, but I've been away from earth the longest. With Cain, it..doesn't feel so far away. He makes me forget of things. 'Abel..' That's me, but I'm also Ethan..a name I've nearly forgotten. Why is it this won't go away? *SMACK* "I wasn't spacing out!" I say. I hear a soft laugh. "Eídos, must you do that?" I laugh a little, realizing it was all just a swarm of thoughts I had.
-Eídos now-
"You've been so quiet lately. Is it because of Cain?" I ask. I know a lot of things I shouldn't, but from what Helios has told me and from what Selene's told me, I'm caught up to speed on their relationship. "How'd you guess?" He asked quietly. "I have the same problem. Mainly because our two fighters are our problem. Commander Hayden nearly threw them in an air lock today because they were at each other's throats. And..I heard it wasn't in a fighting manor." I said looking down. Thankfully, the observation deck isn't occupied today so it's just me and Abel. "Who'd you hear that from?" He asked. "That part..I didn't have to hear from anyone, I saw it." I say looking down. "Commander Hayden told them either take it to the bunks or have it in the airlock. Apparently CO didn't realize that..what they were doing wasn't so appropriate." I say softly. 'God, how could I have been a fool to fall for his charm! I knew I shouldn't have gotten to attatched.' I feel a hand on my back. "If Zanthos is your fighter, get closer. Form a bond to him and make him realize that you're the only one for him." Abel said kindly. He's right. "I'll catch him in my web." I say as I get up and head for the hangar. Zanthos, watch out because you're about to get it.
