Brendon's POV

We had just finished our second show in Amsterdam half an hour ago. For some odd reason, we had to play a show at 6 PM. Tomorrow is a day off for us, so we decided to get some drinks later. Right now, it was about 8 o'clock and we were in our tour bus. We were driving to Antwerp, (Belgium) for our show in two days.                                                                                                                          In about an hour and a half we would arrive and search for a good place to stay, before going out.

"What? We need to share rooms?" Kenny asked annoyed. "Yeah, you guys could get individual rooms, but if you share I'll treat the drinks tonight." Zack said and winked. That did sound like a fair deal. "Well, you don't mind me calling dibs on Dan?" Kenny asked, which was okay for me. "Sure. C'mon Dal, let's get our stuff in our room." I said, gesturing to follow me. Zack stopped me: "We're leaving in about twenty minutes, make sure to be here."

"Bren, I'm not sure if I want to join: I'm really not into drinking tonight. Plus, I'm pretty exhausted." I heard Dallon saying. I get him, I'm pretty into some sleep too, but this is one of the only nights out we're gonna have in a while. "Oh, c'mon, Dally!" His cheeks turned red. "You don't have to drink if you don't want to and we won't stay too long: I'll probably get sleepy very soon." I smiled.

Dallon's POV

We had been to a bar a few streets from our hotel for a couple of hours. It was about 12:30 AM. Dan only drank two beers and I just drank some soda. Brendon had about 3 beers and I cannot count how many Kenny had. One thing was for sure: he wasn't really aware of what he was doing. Brendon himself wasn't really  drunk, he was just really funny.
About ten minutes ago Dan had left, saying he was just way too tired. I told him I'd bring Kenneth and Bren with me soon.

We were walking back to our hotel, when we passed a somewhat frozen lake. There was a sign saying 'schaatsen toegelaten/ice skating allowed.'                                                                                        Well, of course Brendon, silly boy he was, wanted to go iceskating.

"Bren, we don't have the equipment." I said. "I know, Dally, I am aware of my actions. I just want to have some fun," He said, "I'm only gonna slide over the ice, this sign says it's okay."

I shrugged. "I don't think it's a good idea, but if you really want to.." and with that Brendon sat down on the ice. He laid himself on his stomach and crawled over the ice. "Don't go too far, Brendon! Aren't you cold?" I asked, slightly scared this was not as safe as I first thought it was. "No, I'm fine!" He yelled. "You don't have to yell, Bren. You're only three meters from us." Kenny said, holding his head. A headache, well, you shouldn't have drunk that much, I thought.

"Okaa—aa-AYYYYYY!!!" Brendon screamed and within seconds we could only see his head and arms. "Brendon, OH MY GOD! Try to get out of it, I'll come and help!" I yell.

"KENNETH! FUCKING CALL 911!" I screamed, he wasn't doing anything. "I'll walk to-to the payyphonee." He said, clearly too drunk to know what was going on. And then he was gone, the opposite direction of the payphone, off to our hotel. Asshole.

Brendon was still in the water, he didn't have the strength to crawl onto the hard ice. "Fuck it, I'm getting you out of this!" I yelled. "But you hate water!" Brendon yelled out of breath. "Yeah, I do. Do I look like I'm gonna let you die like Kenny just did?" I said as I got on my knees. I tried to get to where he was and steady myself. I put my hands in the water and under Brendon's arms, to pull him out. As I was using all my strength to pull him out, he was shivering: "I'm so cold, Dallon. Sssoooo c-c-cold." He looked very pale and his voice was fading with every word.
