This story would not be possible if my heart hadn't been broken in January. It's helped me to grow and helped me to become freer and more sensitive - which in some ways is good and in some ways bad. I've learned along the journey that people enter your life for a reason, and to teach you a lesson, and sometimes the people who break you can stay in your life, but more often than not they have to go.
Therefore I have a new mantra:
There's always going to be plenty of people who will break your heart, but there'll be one with a glue gun to piece you back together.
And so I dedicate this book to the person who is reading this - to promise me that one day you'll be someone's glue gun and make them whole again.
