Oh I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Sora Kim and I’m 19 years old. He’s Nam Woohyun my best friend for life. Or is he?
We’ve been friends since we’re babies with him being a few months older than me. All my life I’ve spend it with him. From our first word.
FLASHBACK:
Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Nam were busy chatting in the living room while keeping their eyes on their 1 year old babies who are busy playing inside the crib.
Woohyun and Sora are playing with one teddy bear, giggling and talking in baby language when suddenly Sora said something that causes the two mothers to squeal in glee.
“Woonnie” Sora blurted.
“So Eun did you hear that?!?!” Eun Jung asked
“My baby’s first word is WooHyunnie’s name!!” So Eun squealed.
The two mothers then played with them and keeps on asking Sora to do it again which the innocent baby complied.
FLASHBACK END
Sigh.
I really can’t believe that my first word would be Wohhyunnie oppa’s name. I thought that every baby’s first word would be ‘umma’ or 'appa'.
My daydreaming was disturbed when I heard his voice. His soothing and manly voice that makes me( and every girl) melt in goo every time I hear it.
He’s walking my way with that greasy smile of his that gives a tingle in my spine every time he does that.
“Hey baby girl.” Woohyun greeted.
Baby girl is what he calls me ever since we we're kids. Blame our mothers for teaching him that. Tsk.
“Hey oppa.” I smiled.
He took my hands and gave them a peck and again smiled genuinely this time.
“I missed you.” He pouted. I gave his hand a tight squeeze “We’re together the whole day yesterday.” I said.
“Yeah but I haven’t seen you in like 3 hours?” Woohyun said. “Aigoo. You love me that much?” I teasingly asked.
“You bet I do.” Woohyun said. Serious was written all over his face.
My heart flutters and the first time I said to myself that I’m in love with him came back to my mind.
FLASHBACK (Sora’s POV)
It’s valentines day and every girls are busy giving their presents to their crushes and loved ones. I was walking along the corridor when I saw the face I’ve been looking for the whole time.
