Goodbye My Dear Friend {Harry×Hermione}

I stood near the entrance of Hogwarts. I could see his face, I could see him. Harry got killed by Voldemort two weeks ago, and nobody has been ready to get over it yet. Not even me...

I could see Harry run over to me, and pull me into my usual hug. I could see his smile, I could hear is laugh. The castle looked so destroyed and so un welcomed. I remember so many years ago, it looked so safe and welcoming.

"Granger!" I heard someone call, but I ignored them. "Grangee! Hey!"

I stood outside the castle as all the memories of Harry came rushing into my mind. I felt a tear escape my eyes, I quickly wipe it away. I turn around and see Draco, he seemed to have change the day Harry was killed.

"Here" He hands me a copy of The Daily Prophet. I look at the front page.

Harry Potter 'The Boy Who Lived' is no longer living but is now 'The Boy Who Died'. It is said that Mr Potter died just during the battle of Hogwarts, by the spell that he supposedly fought against at the age of 1 years old. Let's raise our wands and light them up in honour of our dear friend Harry Potter. Rita Skeeter...

"Oh yah" I rub my upper arm and throw the paper back at Neville. "I like how she does that! I like how she starts being nice to him when he's gone! I don't like how she put that in there! He still lived!"

"Hermione" Draco sighs sadly, "Are you sure that you still want to come back to Hogwarts?"

"I am sure" I nod, but feel my bottom lip quivering. "It's what Harry would of wanted me to do. He would of wanted me to move on"

Draco pulls me into a hug, but I pull back straight away. I am not ready for physical contact with the boy who made my years at Hogwarts a living hell,

"So are you going to Harry's funeral?" Draco looks saddened by my refusal. I know he's trying to be nice but...

"Yeah" I wipe another tear, I forgot about that. I forgot about his funeral. "Are you?"

"I say I will" Draco nodded, he tries not show how upset he was.

I know that I will never get through this, I know I never will. These are gonna be the hardest months of my life...
