'Phichit, can we talk?' Yuuri asked the younger man quietly. Viktor and Yuria had gone to bed a few hours, but the longtime friends had stayed up watching film.

The ending credits were now rolling.

'Sure, what's up?' Phichit replied with a smile.

Yuuri explained his (and Viktor & Yuria's) situation, as Phichit listened earnestly, face contorted into an expression of concern.

'Well, Yuuri, you could've told me! I can definitely get my parents to give you a job! I'll call them later since it's, like, one in the morning right now,' Phichit said softly.

Yuuri thanked him profusely, giving him several hugs. Phichit refused to be thanked, saying he was only doing what he knew to be right.

The two departed happily into their rooms. Well, Phichit went into the guest room to sleep. NOT WITH YURIA, because there are two beds in the guest room. I think I mentioned that a few chapters ago.

Since Viktor had decided he was going to sleep in Yuuri's room, rather than go home (which had been the original plan), Yuuri was forced to be happy with the fact that he and the Russian would be sharing a bed. Again.

Yuuri crawled into the bed, jis bed, glad he had changed into his pyjamas earlier. He was cautious, and on edge, because he hadn't the desire to wake Viktor. His sleeping face was angelical, beautiful. It was so calm and worry-free. So completely unlike Yuuri, who was always worrying about something.

With one last thought about Viktor, Yuuri fell into a dreamless sleep.

'YUURIYUURIYUURIYUURI! WAKE UP!!!'

Yuuri groaned. He reached lazily for his glasses. Sitting up, he put them on and looked around tiredly.

A face suddenly appeared in front of him, smiling jovially and very awake.

'Viktor, what in the world?' Yuuri grumbled, 'I was sleeping. Sleeping.'

'Ha, sorry. I'm just excited is all! It's Friday! We're going on a date!' Viktor squealed, waving his arms up and down in an excited manner.

'Huh?'

Instantaneously, Viktor stopped his ludicrous movements. He looked... heartbroken.

'You told me you'd go out with me... You don't remember?' he asked in a disappointed tone.

Yuuri instantly felt guilt coursing through him. 'Gome--I mean, sorry! I just woke up a-and I'm not much of a morning person a--

'Yuuri, it's fine! I was just kidding. It's okay. Right now, we should think about where to go later,' Viktor quickly cut off the Japanese man, who had begun frantically apologising.

'O-okay. Yeah," Yuuri replied breathlessly. He suddenly felt embarrassed.

Viktor smiled and wrapped his arms Yuuri in a warm hug. 'You're so frantic all the time. Do you always worry about everything?'

Yuuri sighed, leaning into Viktor's embrace. He replied quietly, 'I tend to, yes. It's not a very good thing.'

Viktor chuckled airily, 'You're right, it isn't. You should smile more. I think that if you smile more, everything is just... better. Plus, you look absolutely beautiful when you smile. It makes me want to just smother your face with kisses.'

Yuuri looked up at Viktor, blushing, but feeling the emotion Viktor was trying to get from him.

Love.

'You don't need to compliment me like that,' Yuuri murmured. Viktor ran his fingers through Yuuri's hair, and sighed.

'Yes I do. If I don't butter you up, how will you ever say yes when I ask you to be my boyfriend?' He asked softly.

Yuuri hummed. He was too lovesick to know what was going on. 'What makes you think I wouldn't say yes if you asked me now?'

Viktor's eyes glimmered. Yuuri was too drunk in love to know what he was saying. He wasn't processing words right now. Still, Viktor knew the words he was speaking now were words he would never say under other circumstances, but he truly meant.

'Oh. Yuuri...' Viktor trailed off. He was unsure whether he should really go through with it. He looked at the bracelet on which the intials 'Y.K.' were engraved. It fit around his wrist as perfectly as Yuuri's lips fit with his own.

Yuuri's bracelet had 'V.N.' on them. A symbol of their never-ending friendship, even if it had begun only some days ago. A symbol of their love. Even if it was a bit early to call it that.

'Yuuri. You're really something. You're so different. Genuine, caring, perfect. I don't know why I never talked to you before. I wish I had, because even though I met you only three or four days ago, you've already become everything to me. You're all I look forward to in the morning. Your smile. Your laugh. Everything about you,' Viktor took Yuuri's hands into his, 'I just want you next to me forever. So now I ask you, will you take my hand and walk through life with me?'

'Viktor....I.... Yes!'
