The Beginning

"Raquel, Raquel!" yelled Adrianna, Raquel's annoying 11 year old little sister who was somehow about the same height as her. "Get up, get up!" She was jumping up and down on her sister's bed, tirelessly trying hard to wake her up.

"Ugh, what is it? It's like two in the morning" groaned Raquel, pulling her white and black covers over herself. She ended up being wrapped in blanket cacoon. Or a burito, if that's your style.

"How could YOU forget where we are going?" Adrianna sighed in exasperation.

"I don't know. Now can I go back to sleep?" replied Raquel exhaustedly. She attempted to shove the blankets over her head, but Adrianna was quick on pulling it off. She took the blanket by both hands and pulled hard, which made Raquel tumble out of her bed right away. Incase you didn't know, her bed was about one foot of the ground, which definitely hurt falling down. "OW! What was that for??"

"WE. ARE. GOING. TO. LONDON. REMEMBER?" Adrianna yelled slowly and with heavy emphasis directly at Raquel's face. Despite the pain, her expression changed dramatically. London! How could she possibly forget about that?? She jumped up immediately, almost colliding her head with Adrianna's. LONDON!!!

"LONDON HERE I COME, BABY!!!" Raquel shouted way too loud, probably scaring the nearby cornfields.

"Why is everyone I know crazy?" Adrianna muttered to herself as her sister was bouncing off the walls.

Raquel raced downstairs to see the shocked expression of her mother ("Slow down, Raquel.." "oh ok.") and zoomed into the kitchen to chug a glass of milk and then to finish it off with a shake of the cereal box. Cereal cascaded everywhere on Raquel, but she didn't care. Today was the day she was going to fly away with her best friend Riley Westover (not Mackenzie, she too cool for London. And self-insertion is bad, shh) and escape the pain that is America. No more Trump for two months! Woo!!!

And who knew, maybe she would meet her all time crush Tom Hiddleson along the way?

 But that was just wistful thinking, or was it?
