Eyes Open by Taylor Swift

Alec's P.O.V.
"ALYSSA!!!"
Panic rushed through my body. One minute she is okay and standing still, the next she is unconscious on the ground.
"FUCK!"
I rushed over and tried to roll her onto her back. I grab my phone out of my pocket and tried to turn it on. It was dead.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" I screamed.
She was still unconscious. I tried shaking her again.
"Alyssa, come on. Come on," I whispered. "COME ON!"
I threw my phone at the Ferris Wheel just as I heard Alyssa suck in a small breath. I knew from a fall like that her lungs should be filled with air. She should be breathing out not inhaling more air.
"Alyssa. Breathe out," I demanded. It looked like she was trying but it wasn't working.
"Alyssa....Alyssa! Hello?" I waved my hand in front of her face. It seemed like she was dazed as she took in sharp intakes of breath.
"ALYSSA!"
Alyssa's P.O.V.
I heard Alec yelling at me but it seemed blurry. I tried breathing out but it wasn't working. The sky is so beautiful. The stars are gorgeous. I mean, maybe dying was for the best. I mean I would be with my mom in the sky and the sky doesn't seem like a bad place. I feel like when some people die, they get to be a star. I want to be a star. I bet my mom is one, and she is looking over me.
I could be dead. There aren't many people that would be sad. I don't have lots of family. Maybe my brothers. But death doesn't seem so bad, does it? I mean, it kind of seems peaceful. I mean, you wouldn't have to do anything. Also, I haven't sinned I don't think. I know I'm not very religious, but I do believe that there are both a heaven and a hell. I feel like I would go to heaven. I've been good. Mom would be there too.
I felt myself dozing off until I felt a sharp pain in my cheek.
Everything became clear again.
Alec. My fall.
I'm dying.
Quickly I tried to breathe in because I had realized I wasn't really breathing. I heard Alec yelling at me.
"Breathe out," he repeated over and over again. "Breathe out."
I forced myself with every ounce in my body to breathe out lots of air and only take in super, tiny, little breaths in.
Soon enough my breathing became normal but it made me feel the piercing pain in my wrists and right arm. Also my cheek hurt a lot too.
"Alec," I managed to squeak.
"No don't talk. Are you hurt?"
"Dumbass, I have to talk to tell you where I'm hurt."
I thought he would have laughed or rolled his eyes like he usually does but he just looked behind him then back at me. He wasn't going to say anything anytime soon so I decided to continue.
"My wrists feel like they're broken and my arm hurts like a bitch. So does my cheek for some reason," I paused trying to remember what happened. "I fell off the Ferris Wheel right?"
He nodded.
"I must have blacked out on the way down because I don't remember how I hurt myself. We have to get out of here and get to a hospital," I explained. It was hard to see his reaction because it was getting really dark. "How long was I out for?"
