New Begginings

I wake up to the smell of food.. I tried moving but felt a body next to me then realized it was J. "Morning Princess." I heard a raspy voice say. "Morning J." I heard a knock on our door.. 'Our' door.. "YES?" I hear J yell. The door opens slightly. "May I come in?" "Yes you may." J says. "Joker sir. I got the clothes that you asked for. For Lia." "Good now go away." She closes the door. " Alright butterfly. I think we should actually talk." I nod in response " Alright. So when it comes to me.. I know I seem dysfunctional, and weird but, I promise butterfly I'll never let anything harm or hurt you but, you gotta believe me. Okay?" I could feel his eyes on me. I lightly look up to meet his eyes. I honestly feel like I can trust him, believe him, love him... "I believe you and trust you." He had a look of relief in is eyes. "Alright princess lets go eat." He gets up and heads out the door. I took a moment to think about Joker.. The Joker. I'm his 'new queen'. I'm.. His... I love how tall he is.. How his green hair goes so well with his pale skin. He's actually.. Kinda sexy.. This shouldn't be so bad. "Lia you coming?" I heard him shout. "Yes give me a sec." I respond. I hop out of bed and slowly walk down the stairs that I remember walking down then, after what seems forever I found the kitchen.. Dinning room? I don't know. "Hello Lia." J said and walked over to me. "Well hello to you to J." As he approach me he stopped in front of me and we stared at each other for a moment. This is normal right? I heard him clear his throat. I look up to see him looking me up and down. "Where's the food?" I mange to say. I loved the way he looked in that lighting. "Right. This way princess." I follow him to the ACTUAL dinning room. I'm so stupid. But hey.. I could be dumber. "How did you know I like eggs and sausage?" "I pay attention when you talk. You say you also love biscuits and gravy.. those are also coming out." Wow. No guy pays attention when I talk. I stood there in shock. "Why are you being so nice to me?" He looked at me and studied my face. He looks down. It looks like he's in a thoughtful gaze. "Truth is.. I really don't know.. it was like an instinct when I say you they very first time in person at a little Starbucks-" he chuckles "I thought you were beyond beautiful and so breathtaking. You are way more beautiful than on T.V-" he looks sad "I can't believe you get bullied at school." I look at him in shock. He know I get bullied in school. "Yes. I know. It was a big deal on the news. I have it recorded.. it hurts to know what happened." "Do you wanna hear what happened exactly?" He look up from the ground and pulled out a chair for me."Please sit. And yes if want to I would want to know." I sat down in the chair he pulled out for me. He sat down across from me. "Okay J.. There was this boy.. Derek my ex-boyfriend.. he wanted to go into an abandon amusement park. I went in with him being the dumb teenager that every girl is once in a while. We went on the Ferris wheel. I thought he was gonna go on with me. He didn't. He knew the Ferris wheel was broken. He pressed the 'ON' button and it started going up. Once I was at the top he touch the 'OFF' button. I was scared. I didn't know how to get down. I heard a crack. I look down Derek had a gun. He was shooting at the Ferris wheel. Then he walked over and pressed the 'ON' button and waited until I got down. Once I was down he said. 'I'm giving you 20 seconds to run and hide from me before I shoot your pretty brains out.' I ran as fast as I could. I had his car keys and I unlocked his car and hid in the back seat I called the cops saying 'my boyfriend is trying to kill me he has a gun.' They said they were on their way. He found me in his backseat but he didn't know I called the cops. He dragged me to the middle of the amusement park. He said 'How dare you run into my car and try to leave me.' All of a sudden you could hear sirens. I felt relief until he shot my leg and yelled in my face over and over. He called me so many things that I will never forgive him for. The cops were surrounding him. He ran to the Ferris wheel. As soon as he got to the Ferris wheel it broke and crushed him. The cops hurried and picked me up and put me in the back seat of the ambulance. The Ferris wheel feel, the new crew came, I was sitting in the ambulance like survival girl in all the movies in the end. And that's the story." He looked shocked and mad. "I'm so sorry. I wish I could've been there to prevent that." I looked up and smiled at him. He smiled. It was like a real smile. I loved it and adored it! "Breakfast time! After this I thought one of my 'goons'-" he said using quotation marks. "Could take you out shopping for stuff you need what do you say?" He finished. I really need that. "I love that idea!" I say. He smiles and says "Let's eat!"
