"Mom do I have to take lily to the park? I don't want to."
"Yes Emma, it will be good for you. You can bond with your sister and get some fresh air."
"Ugh fine, how far is the drive to the park from here?"
"About ten minutes And I already put her car seat in the car."
"Ok mom bye. Let's go Lily." I say rolling my eyes and opening the door. "Are you buckled Lily?"
"Yep and I have my snack mommy gave me too." Whatever let's just go and get this over with, I think to my self.
Saturday 10:30
"Come one Andrew let's go, call the dog over."
"Ugh why are you taking me to the park Bryan I want daddy to."
"Yea well I am not happy about it either and dad is at work you know this. Go get in the car with the dog."
"You know the dog has a name and her name is Roxy."
"Yea whatever just in the car and put your seatbelt on."
Mocking " just get in the car and put your seatbelt on."
Ugh this is going to be a long day ,I think to myself as I head to the car.
Saturday 10:45
"Ok lily you can unbuckle your seatbelt I will take your snack and I will be sitting on the bench come get me if you need anything."
"Ok Emma here you go." Lily says as she hands Emma her lunch. I head to go sit on the bench to start reading a book on my phone, when out of nowhere a dog comes and sniffs my butt.
"Hey maybe you should...umm...uh...watch your dog ...uhh...better." I says staring into his surprisingly very attract brown eyes.
"Emma I want my snack now." Lily says. "Who is that?"
"Ummm...uh." I am speechless. Lily grabs her snack and runs back to the playground.
Saturday 10:45
"Go play Andrew I will get the dog."
"Ok bye bye."
I open the door and Roxy comes running out almost knocking me over so I run after her and she goes to this beautiful girl and sticks her head in her butt right before she sits down. I don't even know what she said I was to busy staring into her beautiful hazel eyes. I finally got the courage to say "Hi I'm Bryan." She says her name is Emma I love hat name. So we start talking about our family and I get lost in her eyes when Andrew comes up and says,
"I wanna go home the park isn't as fun without dad." Ugh really of course he wants to leave now so I tell Emma,
"Emma I have to go, can I get your number?" She gives me her number and I say "so when will I see you next?" She says "I don't know Text me."
Saturday 11:35
"Come one lily let's go."
"I don't want to go."
" I don't care let's go get in the car."
"Ugh fine." Finally she gets in the car and we drive home. When we get home I get a text From Bryan saying (hey do you want to get a coffee tomorrow) I reply back (sure... wait... Do you mean like a date?) he says (yea like a date) I say (ok, just make sure to bring your dog to get the conversation started) he replies (hahaha... I am so sorry about that by the way, she normally doesn't do that.)
