Clarke rifled through her suitcase wondering what on earth she should wear for dinner when Octavia walked in and sat down on the edge of her bed.
"Aren't you going to...?" she was cut off when Clarke whipped around suddenly and screamed.
"Jesus Octavia! Don't scare me like that!" she yelled and clutched her heart.
"I'm sorry Griff." Octavia said with a smirk and helped her sit on the bed. Clarke took in deep breaths as she fanned herself with her hand.
"Aren't I going to what Octavia?" she suddenly asked. Her brunette friend stood up and went through her closet, taking out the Alexander McQueen dress she picked out for her along with the Oscar de la Renta pumps.
"Aren't you going to wear these?" she held the outfit up and earned a startled look from the blonde.
"How sure are you that she's going to like me wearing that?" she gasped, standing back up.
"Clarke, you once went to school wearing sweatpants and a hoodie and still all the boys and some girls fell at your feet, what makes this event any different?" Octavia asked with an eye roll, laying the dress on the bed.
"Well I don't know...sixteen years?" Clarke snapped putting her hands on her hips.
"You didn't even age a year! Stop whining and put the damn clothes on," Octavia also snapped and Clarke grabbed the dress and heels then stormed off to the bathroom.

Raven stood at the far end of her room staring fixatedly on the maroon dress laid out for her by Camila. ("You always looked hot in red.") Usually she would pick out her own outfit, but she was an absolute mess. Finn was back at the bar downing shot after shot of tequila. She gulped in copious amounts of air feeling very nervous that Clarke would find fault in her outfit.
"How come it takes you forever to dress?" Camila asked through the door and Raven sheepishly looked down at her bra and panties before hurriedly putting on her Dior dress. She came out so her sister could have a good look at her and she smiled brightly.
"For a second there I thought you got forgot how to zip up your dress," Camila said and laughed at her own joke as Sofi came into the room and beamed at the sight of her mother.
"Wow! You look...beautiful," she complimented and Raven broke into a huge grin.
"You think so?" she asked fidgeting with the dress.
"Yeah, I know so. Unless you don't stop fidgeting with your dress," she said and Raven immediately stopped.
"Let's go," she just said and took her daughter's hand.

Mother and daughter walked out into the night when Raven glanced at the outfit of her daughter. She looked so angelic in her flowy white dress, her wavy hair was pinned up in a bun made by her aunt, and her big blue eyes were shining in excitement.
"Sof, I've had enough surprises for one day... can you please tell me where we're going?" Raven was practically bouncing in her heels as she pleaded with her daughter to spill their dinner venue.
"You're gonna love it, Mama, trust me." Sofi just said. Just then, Clarke and Mila walked out of the hotel. Raven did a double take at the dress her ex wife was wearing and she tried not to gawk. Her mouth went dry and she couldn't take her eyes off her. A small voice in her head kept nagging at her, berating her at letting such an amazing woman go.
"Hello," Clarke said with a small smile clutching her clutch bag tighter. Mila smiled at her twin since they were wearing identical outfits and she had to admit, they both looked like angels. But unlike her sister, her wavy hair was flowing down her back, with a bow.
